PHOENIX – Dorothy McGuire Williamson, who teamed with sisters Christine and Phyllis for a string of hits in the 50s and 60s as the popular McGuire Sisters singing group, has died.

Yep, no tattoos, no thigh-high boots, no crotch-grinding, and you could actually understand every word they were singing! But the Communists assure us that the ‘50’s were evil, unrealistic and oppressive/s

RIP Dorothy!

You're right, of course.
Silly mistake!

As penance, I've attached a link to their last public appearance on a 2004 PBS broadcast in which they reprise all their "oldies" hits.
Hope you enjoy it!

This one’s a favorite of mine, too. The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B. I heard a lot of these songs when I was a little boy.

I was about a few years late for them, but have come to enjoy their vocals and harmony.

Bugle Boy is classic.

The McGuire Sisters didn't have a hit with "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." The Andrews Sisters did.

The two acts dominated different decades.

Why do so many entertainers destroy their looks with plastic surgery? It's not that they don't have examples in the ruined faces of those who have gone before them.

From right to left, this photo actually looks like the stages the sisters went through to end up looking like the Lion-Faced Lady, Jocelyn Wildenstein, whose ravaged face still remains on the internet as the ultimate example of cosmetic desperation gone wild.
