This is what the media wants..remember we have been hearing for a while how the Dems are NOT enthusiastic about Obama, that he has to drag out Clinton in order to have any chance. Now they are doing the same thing to us, bring out some fake polls showing Obama leading to make US less enthusiastic about voting. Just go out and vote, enough with the BS polls. I remember this same nonsense working for the Dems in 2008. I remember hearing on the radio Republican after Republican telling Mark Levin and Rush “I wont go vote, there is no point, Obama’s already won” maybe if enough people had come to the polls than we would have won. Let’s not make the same mistake twice, just forget about the polls and vote and whatever happens happens

Completely different from what so many here have been saying all day.

Makes one wonder, doesn't it?

Who are the agents provocateur?

And who are the easily misled?

Right you are. Remember how Walker was going to lose the recall in Wis. right up until he won by 7 points?

It's the same thing, over and over, and they are so predictable.

Of course that’s what they want but will it work? Is there a single person here who really won’t go to the polls? I think not.

That might work for the libtards that would rather stay in bed all day after hitting the crack pipe most of the night, but us? True patriots, no way.

In 2010 all I heard was how we would lose, how did that work out? Then Scott Walker recall election? Even the exit polls showed they were tied. If the American people were not happy with Obama and his cabal in 2010, they sure as hell are not happy with him now.

Nobody who voted for McCain will cast a vote for Obama, he can’t carry all the states he had in 08 and no way does he have the support he had in 08.

I know two individuals who seem to be members of the demoralizisation cabal.

One of them refuses to back up a specious claim, and also refuses to retract, making them a baldfaced liar.

We may have seminar posters on board.

It +4 not 5 and Scott Rasmussen said a few days ago to expect a Clinton/Obama bounce that would last a week or two.

Demoralization is a weapon of the enemy. Don’t get it, don’t spread it!

as much as I hate to say it, if republicans are demoralized by polls that don’t mean sh.t they need to take a political break for a month and live their lives...

In response to a question from David Gregory about repealing Obamacare, Gregory said “So you are telling people with pre-existing conditions and parents keeping their children on their plans they will lose their health insurance?” to which Romney said that was incorrect - he said he would replace it with his own plan and expand free market opportunities for people to have the choice of purchasing outside of their employee plans with the same tax advantages. Completely different from what so many here have been saying all day.

I went ahead and watched the interview thinking that I might have been misled by the earlier posts. I was wrong. Your post was the misleading one. Romney was quoted accurately in the earlier posts while you just skipped the parts of his statement that you didn't like, the parts where he said he would cover pre-existing conditions under his plan and cover people in a family up to "whatever age they might like." You also skipped the part where he cited Romneycare as an example of a plan where he was able to cover pre-existing conditions.

Which begs the question I asked earlier. How can Romney's new plan cover pre-existing conditions without a mandate? The whole purpose of the mandate in both Romneycare and Obamacare is to provide enough funding to the insurance companies so that they can afford to cover pre-existing conditions without going bankrupt. The insurance companies said they would not agree to the pre-existing condition rule in Obamacare without the mandate in there guaranteeing funding from a wider customer base who was forced to sign up and from the penalties they would pay for not signing up.

I don’t believe that 9.5 million people were so demoralized by polls that they stayed home instead of voting for McCain/Palin.

No, I didn’t. I’m a realist and I don’t make judgments based on emotion, be it demoralizing or cheerleading for one side or the other. The MSM also wanted Obama to win in 2008 and he did. They get what they want sometimes. The polls are an obviously accurate and easily predictable result of the Democrats producing a far more effective convention when it comes to making themselves look like the better choice in November to persuadable voters.

That is so true. Remember for weeks before the primaries the polls showed that Romney was the only candidate that could beat Obama? I wonder how many votes that influenced.

We did not win in 2004 or 2010 using that “nothing to see here” philosophy. We took all bad news seriously.

No we didn't.

"We" won because every day "we" were out there engaging anyone and everyone with the messages that "our" candidates were better choices, that "our" stands on the issues were the correct views to hold, and that "we" were going to win (with their additional vote, thank you).

“The Dems knocking on my Nevadan door once per week depress me.”

The solution to that is you going down to your Republican Party/Romney campaign office, getting some literature, etc. and maybe some other folks and go knock on doors for OUR SIDE.

It’s actually kind of fun.
