Rand Paul suggests DNC ‘booing God’ could swing 2012 election
Washington Examiner ^ | 09/10/2012 | Joel Gehrke

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., suggested that images of the Democratic National Convention booing at the addition of the word “God” to the party platform could haunt the presidential election in swing states.

“I think images are worth a thousand words and I think one of the bad images that they have to overcome is images of everybody booing God,” Paul said on CBS today when asked about Obama’s apparently-favorable path to reelection. “And that didn’t look so good, you know, when ‘God’ was in the platform, out of the platform — and then when they were putting ‘God’ back in the platform they had three votes and there was a lot of booing going on.”[SNIP]

When CBS’s Norah O’Donnell asked if it would decide the election in those swing states, Paul suggested it was possible.

“It’s just funny, you don’t know what people make their decision on,” he said, conceding that it’s not a very “substantive” issue for this year. “Just the images of people really yelling and booing over putting God back in the platform — I think it’s a difficult image for them to overcome.”

You have to remember that the majority of the MSM didn’t mention it. If they did it was a one-day story.

So far it hasn’t any effect whatsoever. Just like every atrocity these vermin are connected to. It just doesn’t matter. The moral fiber has been severely damaged by Hollywood, Madison Avenue and shi&&y parents.

Let’s be honest, they were booing the process of the vote outcome. Clearly there wasn’t a 2/3 majority.

How many congressional and Senate races will be impacted by their “ommission”?

Most voters are unaware of this shameful event. GOP needs to change that. It will make a difference. There is a provision at mittromney.com for making suggestions. I suggest we use it. There is “contact us” at the bottom of the front page. And then “suggestions”. Have at it.

The DNC vote against God could swing the election if Romney would use it, but his disastrous campaign advisor won’t let him use anything except jobs and as far as the Democrats are concerned the only jobs that count are union jobs.

Let’s be honest, they were booing the process of the vote outcome.

Let's be honest. They removed God's name. Tried to shove it back in and could barely get a 50% support (for God - are you kidding me???). And when God was forced back in, they booed. Now, let's be honest.

The power grad process on the Rules Vote by the GOPe at the RNC wasn’t much different

Isn’t Rand the guy who just spoke of moving away from social issues to expand the GOP’s political outreach? Now he wants to use God as a political football. Which is it Rand. Do God and social issues hurt republican electoral expansion or help?

It won’t alter the election. That happened out of primetime and Romney didn’t bother to address it until days later. GWB would have addressed it and it would have been authentic. For all his faults while in office, he knew how to run a campaign. Romney’s only managed to win once in a lifetime spent seeking political office.

Well then some PAC needs to use it and use it hard. Jobs won’t work. People know that Obama and government can back up promise to create jobs. Government jobs. They don’t know or care about the details, the ramifications, the consequences.

When will we see the ads? Soon, I hope. And they better not chicken out.

Why be so negative about the 'Rats, and them denigrating God.

We should be positive about them. For example, the 'Rats were all in favor of an Israel-free middle east. The 'Rats are gung-ho for taxpayer-funded abortion at any time, pre or post birth, and absolutely free contraceptives for EVERYONE (nobody will pay for them!!)!

Romney should be doing what Mia Love said, which is stay out of the weeds and focus on the economy...what are his plans???

Ads about the economy...what Romney/Ryan will do, AND, ads using the DNC convention booing God should work...if they make them. What are they doing with the money? Why are they taking so long?

It would make a great ad if the Repubs would use it.

What we saw was the DNC stealing an election right in front of everyone’s eyes.

If that doesn’t make the case for voter ID nothing will. If they’ll steal an election from their own rank and file with cameras rolling, they’ll steal it any time and any where.
