In a 1994 interview, then-Harvard Law School dean Robert Clark said his institution was actively applying an affirmative action policy to hiring female faculty, The Daily Caller has learned. The famed law school first offered Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren a professorship in 1992 and granted her tenure in 1995.
And charges leveled in a 1990 academic law journal raised serious questions about her qualifications to teach at Harvard at all.
In 1991, Rutgers Professor Phillip Schuchman reviewed Warrens co-authored 1989 book As We Forgive Our Debtors: Bankruptcy and Consumer Credit in America in the pages of the Rutgers Law Review, a publication Warren once edited. Schuchman found serious errors which result in grossly mistaken functions and comparisons.
Warren and her co-authors had drawn improper conclusions from even their flawed findings, and made their raw data unavailable to check, he wrote. In my opinion, the authors have engaged in repeated instances of scientific misconduct.
The work contains so much exaggeration, so many questionable ploys, and so many incorrect statements that it would be well to check the accuracy of their raw data, as old as it is, Schuchman added.
Harvard Law School appears to have overlooked that review, in part, because of its commitment to hiring a woman professor.
Were clearly trying to add more women to the faculty, Clark told the Harvard Law Record in March 1994.
Clark said HLS was engaging affirmative action to the extent it was working to increase the number of women considered and interviewed, wrote the Records Greg Stohr. He also said the Law School would be willing to hire a qualified woman, even if her area of expertise did not fit an immediate need, but he stopped short of saying the school would lower its qualification requirements for women.

and there's Harvard need to have a diverse faculty
Obama is another example of affirmative action and ethnic diversity ...
(so tasty having an Indian and a Black Muslim on board)
domestic terrorist Bill Ayers wasn't available
She was cutting edge - laying the foundation to how climate "science" evidence was to be produced.
Complete and total fraud, aided and abetted by leftist academia.
So typical of the lie-beral’s wordsmiths.
“Affirmative Action” is simply a made up phrase for government imposed racial discrimination.
It is amazing how many bad, illegal, or just downright wrong things Lie-Berals hide using their wordsmiths to hide the real meaning of their actions.
Killing young humans is “Choice” according to wordsmiths.
Gay has no real meaning when it comes to SSAD (Same Sex Attraction Disorder) but that does not stop the wordsmiths.
Or how about the Mugumbo Odumbo’s phrase of Overseas Contingency Operation instead of fully justified WAR against Islam (which they can never bring themselves to admit). The wordsmiths really had to go to the extreme for that jumble of words which mean nothing.
And, we wonder why our educational system is failing at every level. The emphasis isn’t on education, its on:
(4) Political correctness
(5) Affirmative action
(6) (Feel free to add your own) . . . . . . .
Nothing to see here...business as usual in liberal academic world...no real news here...please move along...
Fraud in multiple forms (academic and ethnic) just means we’re getting a two-fer, similar to the way HLS checked two blocks (woman and minority) in their hiring and tenure choices with Warren.
Anyway if her academic work is this bad, what is her role at UVA, that of the “The Bad Example”?
I love it but none of this has seemed to cost her like it should. Just because we have standards doesn’t mean the lib cesspool does.
One of the co authors of the book with Warren was Theresa Sullivan, the current President of the University of Virginia. In June of this year, Sullivan’s employment was terminated by the University’s governing Board of Visitors. The outcry from the faculty, the national and state liberal media, and students was overwhelming and carefully orchestrated. Virginia’s Republican Governor wimped out in the face of the firestorm, failing to give his unqualified support to the Board he and the previous Democrat governor appointed. In only 17 days, the Board voted to reinstate Sullivan who is now bulletproof and free to shift the University founded by Thomas Jefferson hard to the left. Diversity and political correctness are now reigning supreme at UVA.
The wilting of the Republican governor under pressure from the Left is more evidence the current leadership of the party lacks the backbone or desire to fight the Left when it counts and in situations where the real pain from standing up is relatively low. Instead they strategically retreat compromising our institutions and culture for the sake of comity. They forget that to the Left the only real peace for their opposition lies 6 feet under. No doubt Mr. Jefferson is turning over in his grave contemplating the speed at which the American people are surrendering their liberty to elitists such as Ms. Warren and Ms. Sullivan.
Harvard should take some affirmative action and fire the liar. Harvard’s motto is “TRUTH”.
Maybe Harvard’s new motto should be “EXCRETUM”.
