Ideology
Conservative 21% 70% 7% 3%
Moderate 56% 34% 8% 1%
Liberal 88% 3% 9% 1%

... maybe some poll-faulting going on here?

Maybe these "Conservative" folks are having a little fun with the pollsters?

Good! I hope that the msm keeps saying that Obemba is up 10 points, 20 even 50 points.

That’ll make most dims stay home and not vote.

If this is a national poll, I bet they’re oversampling blue states.

The question is where they are state by state.

As Judge Judy would say “Dont pee on my hand and tell me its raining” there is NO WAY one single Conservative would vote for Obama, Moderate Republican, maybe, but Conservative, HELL NO..ANY Conservative who would vote for Obama needs to be taken to the wood shed and beaten with a sledge hammer. There is NO WAY in hell thats true

I’m hearing on Twitter and blogs (HotAir and Ace) that Obama’s bump is due to blue state fever. And they most of the swing state numbers have not moved. Which is good news.

“apathetic Democrats who missed the likely voter screen last week suddenly became enthusiastic “

Well, not ‘enthusiastic’ IMO but less unenthusiastic.

If Bubba Clinton was running again it might last but not for the Zero.
Media’s going wild with nationwide polls with the ‘Clinton bounce’. Bucking up the dispirited Dems before Romney’s ads move the numbers, especially in the battlegrounds.

Hold on, I looked at the internals....it appears there were 441 Demonrats, 397 Republicans...which leaves only 184 independents....for 1,022 adults.

That means 43% Demonrat, 38% Republican, 18% other.

A crap sample.

Forget about Romney. I don’t care if he’s a cardboard cutout. This election is about getting rid of Obama.

Following are the internals for the poll. This is a new trick they're pulling.

Note they have polled TWO groups and mixed them together. The first group 1022 people, the second 1584. The first group could be 100% Dem for all we know...they don't give a breakdown:

Interviews with 1,022 adult Americans conducted by telephone by ORC International on September 7-9, 2012. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points. The sample also includes 875 interviews among registered voters (plus or minus 3.5 percentage points) and 709 interviews among likely voters (plus or minus 3.5 percentage points).

Scam!

Repolling: If sample were 35 D(-8) 35 R(-3) 30 I(+12), Romney would be up by 3 points.

I bet they’re oversampling blue states.

They could sample any states you might choose. Then, to skew the numbers, all they'd have to do is poll just the cities

Yep, ignore. It’s a hodgepodge of LV, RV, A respondents. I’d guess 7-10 points out of whack in Zero’s favor.

Here’s more from the pdf-
