How Long Do We Have If Obama Wins?

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Let me ask you this: How long does this country have if Obama wins? We are headed toward an economic collapse, and we are the leader of the world. When it happens to us, there are reverberations all over the world. It's not like some little Podunk European country collapsing, that goes to another relatively Podunk European country for a bailout. When we collapse, there are worldwide reverberations.

How long is it going to take?

I'm asking a serious question.

Eighteen months? You throw Obamacare onto what we know we're gonna get more of from Obama: More debt, more spending, the expansion of the welfare state, more people on food stamps. How long can this go on? How many of you think we're at the tipping point now? Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the years are 2020, 2022, 2024 as to when they implode. How long do we have if this guy wins? And then what happens? If this guy wins, do you realize...?

I saw Matthews. Matthews was saying (I don't know when, Friday or Saturday on PMSNBC), "If Obama wins, it's the end of conservatism." Nope. If Obama wins, let me tell you what it's the end of: The Republican Party. There's gonna be a third party that's gonna be oriented toward conservatism. I know Rand Paul thinks libertarianism. And I know if Obama wins, the Republican Party is gonna try to maneuver things so conservatives get blamed.

The only problem is, right now Romney's not running a conservative campaign. But they're gonna set it up to say, "Well, the right sat home," or, "The right made Romney be other than who he is." They'll try to deflect the blame, but they got who they want. How long do we have, folks, if Obama wins? How long do we have? I know people who think 18 months -- 18 months before a real United States economic collapse that the Fed cannot do anything about, that the ChiComs can't do anything about. Two years, four years, whatever. The point is, that's what's on the other side of Obama winning, 'cause he's not gonna change anything.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Yesterday on This Week's roundtable, Stephanopoulos said to George Will, "That jobs report. That's probably the best news Republicans had in a couple weeks."

WILL: On the basis of these numbers, the Romney campaign slogan should be the title of Paul Krugman's book, which is "End This Depression Now," because these are depression-level numbers! And if the Republican Party cannot win in this environment, it has to get out of politics.

George Will: 'Romney Campaign Slogan Should Be Title of Krugman’s Book “End This Depression Now”'

RUSH: "[I]f the Republican Party can't win in this environment, it has to get out of politics." I'm gonna ask the question again: If Obama wins, how long do we have, folks -- I'm serious -- before economic collapse, before economic implosion? What happens to the Republican Party if Obama wins? I think it's serious. The welfare state is collapsing all around us. I don't think... There are people that realize that we can't go on this way. I'm not sure how many people realize how close we are to the collapse of the US financial system.

We're spending a trillion dollars we don't have on welfare. It's not that we're taxing producers and redistributing the money. We're borrowing it; we're printing it. We don't have it! Over a trillion dollars a year. There's been $5.5 trillion added to the national debt in 3-1/2 years by this president. There just isn't the money for this. At some point (and it's sooner rather than later) there will be a collapse, and the Republican Party may end up being on the wrong side of it.

There's gonna be a new Republican Party if that happens, and it's gonna be led by Tea Party people. Everybody's gonna try to blame conservatives, and they will have had the least to do with any of the calamity if it happens -- and it has to happen, folks. If Obama's reelected, it will happen. There's no "if" about this. It's gonna be ugly, it's gonna be gut wrenching, but it will happen. The country's economy is going to collapse if Obama is reelected. I don't know how long -- a year and a half, two years, three years.

California is gonna declare bankruptcy at a certain point.

California's gonna declare bankruptcy, and you know what Obama will do?

He'll go to states like Texas or Arizona or Florida to bail 'em out. That's what he'll do, and that's gonna precipitate this stuff. California is showing where we're headed in every which way. There are two Californias. There's the rich, the elites, the liberals that do well along long the coast -- and then there's the interior: Central Valley, San Joaquin Valley, where it is falling apart. The glue that keeps the culture together in the interior of California is falling apart, and on the coasts where the wealth is pretty stacked they're blissfully unaware. It's pretty high.

It's why if you go to California and you spend time on the coastal areas, you say, "I don't see any problem here." You go to the interior, where much of what California does feeds the world and the country and so forth, you'll see it. But everything that is happening in California is slated to happen nationally, from the unchecked immigration, to the massive indebtedness, inability to pay it off, rising taxes. And when push comes to shove, where are they gonna go in California? They're gonna go along the coastline where all the elites, suburbia, where all the money is. They're gonna start taking it. It's the only place there is any.

California, Governor Moonbeam, not doing one thing to put that state's finances in order. Not one thing. Everything he's doing is making it worse. And the same thing is going to happen, eventually. This can't go on, folks. We are on an unsustainable course. You simply can't pay people who aren't working. You just can't. You cannot pay them anything, much less full-fledged incomes, lifetime health care and lifetime pensions. You can't do it. Even if you wanted to, even if that was your definition of fairness and equality. You can't do it. The money isn't there. And you might be shouting, "Don't these people know it?" You have to keep in mind who these people are. These are people who don't like the way this country was founded in the first place, who think it's about time some of us found out what it's like to live in the rest of the world, because of what we've done to the rest of the world.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Of course, folks, there are ways to avoid the economic collapse. Of course there are, but not if Obama's reelected. If Obama's reelected and he continues on this course, among many other things, of the welfare state, but also in this foolish green energy, the solar and wind, sorry, we're doomed. If he continues this vendetta against fossil fuels. 'Cause that's our salvation. You look at what's going on in North Dakota, we're sitting on a boom. We are sitting on energy independence, but not with him in the White House. Elections have consequences. We're sitting on more energy because of fracking, we're sitting on more fossil fuel energy, and some of it clean, natural gas, but we're not gonna get it.

If Obama's reelected and stays devoted to this green energy crap, they can't compete with it. I mean, we're talking about a level of abundance of fossil fuel energy within our shores, within our boundaries, just supply and demand, even with all the subsidies in the world that he wants to pass out when we don't have the money for that, either. He can subsidize all the Solyndras and all the windmills and all the solar energy companies he wants; he can't compete with the abundance of energy. Simple supply and demand. They won't have a prayer. But that voluminous amount of energy will be untapped nationwide if he's reelected. He opposes it. You heard him talk against oil in his acceptance speech for the umpteenth time. Nothing new about it. Of course there are ways to avoid this collapse. Mitt Romney is the first thing you have to know to avoid the economic collapse. Here's Kay in Fullerton, California. I'm glad you waited. Great to have you on the program. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. How are you?

RUSH: Very well. Thank you.

CALLER: Yes. Rush, I tell you, I am so glad that you came on and you said that we have to stay steadfast and we cannot listen to the distortion and distraction of the Democrats. This is the most amazing day of my life since I got married and had my kids. And the next day is going to be the day that Obama is defeated, and we have to stay steadfast in what we're doing. Before he got elected, I was on a mission. I knew what he was all about. I understood what he was doing. I understood that he was going to be disastrous, and I tried to change minds, and I've been doing it ever since. Democrats, blacks, all kinds of people. Where I work, I work with teachers, and in my district most of the teachers are conservative. And I've been on a mission to change their minds, and I've been doing a very good job of it, and I am so excited about this election. We are going to win, and we have to stay steadfast in what we're doing.

RUSH: We can't fall prey to the pessimism and the negativism that's out there, even about Romney, because most of this isn't about Romney. Our base is gonna show up. Our base, just like in 2010, is animated by stopping dead in its tracks Obamaism. And the only way to do that is vote for Romney. You can't stop Obama sitting at home. You can't stop Obama by not voting. You can't do it. And everybody knows this. But the effort to suppress your vote and to depress you and make you feel like it's over is in full throttle right now.

By the way, Bloomberg News, back on September the 7th, had the following story: "The Obama administration’s plan to tighten regulation of hydraulic fracturing for natural gas on public land may cost more than 20 times U.S. estimates." Meaning that Obama announced they were gonna tighten the fracking rules, meaning limit how much it can happen, like the same thing he's doing with the coal industry. (imitating Obama) "Oh, you want open a coal plant? Well, you go right ahead, but you're gonna go out of business with all the taxes," whatever he's gonna do.

We're sitting on energy independence. North Dakota is the illustration of it. We're sitting on it. Real energy independence, folks, from the Saudis, from the Middle East, real energy independence, he is going to make it impossible to tap. The regulations are gonna cost so much it won't be profitable for anybody to do it, therefore it won't happen. Hello windmills and solar and all that crap.

If he wins? A year, maybe two.

If he loses? Welllll....

On Dec 21, 2012, Obama will have had a little over a month to stew in his humiliating, crushing and unexpected defeat at the hands of the American people.

He’ll still be Commander in Chief.

He’ll still have the nuclear ‘football’. Just sitting there. Staring at him. Taunting him. Daring him. Double-eaten-dog daring him...

What the h311 is wrong with Limbaugh and Hannity? The POS in the WH is using a CT SSN. Why aren’t they questioning that?

Our problem will remain after Øbama-the POS is gone.

He will go scott-free, guaranteed.

There will never be a congresscritter with the courage to start a serious eligibility investigation.

Whoever tries will be ridiculed by his colleagues, the MSM, Rush, O’Reilly and Sean because many of them are guilty of promoting this deception for their own advancement.

We may well be 12-18 months from a worldwide financial collapse no matter who is elected - and if Romney wins, you can bet that you’ll hear Romney compared to Hoover for the rest of your life (which, given what could easily happen in a financial collapse, might not be very long at all).

This is the one and only reason why I won’t be too upset if Fauxbama wins - because he’ll get the blame. Oh, he’ll try to make it “Bush’s fault” like every problem in the world down to Bishop Tutu’s hangnail, but every day that passes makes it more Obama’s economy than anyone else’s. Of course, I wouldn’t want to see the emergency measures taken under Fauxbama at all - there will be massive property seizures, people dragged off to camps for “hoarding” food (i.e. planning in advance and stocking up in times of plenty), gun seizures to quell the “extreme right-wing violence” etc., etc.

Don’t worry, I’m not voting for the foreign SOB. No matter what, we’ll have longer before a crash under Romney, and the post-crash situation will be better (i.e. less bad) under him. He may be somewhat liberal, but he’s no Alinsky disciple who wants to destroy Capitalism.

Not a sudden crash - just a slow grind-to-a-halt in 24 months - it’ll be like being in a slow-motion train wreck. Then the massive civil unrest starts - luckily Homeland Security will have thier hands full with the unwashed masses (Obama voters) so we’re good for another year or so after the actual collapse....then they come for us.

Rush knows that there are many “purists” who think they’re standing on their principles by voting for Ron Paul, or Silas Marner, or George Smith, or some other “perfect” obscure candidate of their “perfect” choosing. So, they’ll write in these names, and the vote will be split just enough so that the voter fraud done by “Holder’s people” can’t be overcome. - Then, I give it about 4 more years to establish O’Thuga’s iron fisted control and destruction of the Constitution and Congress; then O’Thuga declares himself Dictator for Life; and we’ll all be in the deepest sort of doo-doo without even a bit of toilet paper. Then, on the tombstones of most of us on FR, we’ll engrave “I DIDN’T VOTE FOR THE S.O.B. IN 2008, DID YOU?!” - Then, Socialism will “work” for a while, until other people’s money runs out.

My worry: Look at the forecasts on how many years/decades East Germany and the Soviet Union had left - just a few months before each went into a tailspin. Everyone believed they were probably going down, but few experts realized that it would happen so soon. We tend to underestimate just how quickly these things can get out of control.

American Capitalism Gone With A Whimper Stanislav Mishin© PRAVDA It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breathtaking speed, against the backdrop of a passive, hapless sheep, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters. First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas than the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish. Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America. The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Weimar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe. These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, losses, and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them? These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties, and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more than a whimper to their masters. Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motors) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self-given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions. So it should be no surprise that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, and so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride. Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "free man" whimper. So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance, and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Frank, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive. The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left. The proud American will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest, and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker. Stanislav Mishin© 1999-2009... PRAVDA.Ru . When reproducing our materials in whole or in part, hyperlink to PRAVDA.Ru should be made. Obama is no Hitler, but he’s leading us down the path to a Hitler. It didn’t begin with him, of course. Precedent by precedent, the Presidents have been governing outside the frameworks of statutes. He is simply the worst. He’s a lazy, reckless dididact; he is like Hitler in that way. I just hope that the rage we see behind is eyes is not the same. From all accounts, Adolf was to meet a nice man, who loved animals and children, and had a good sense of human. But he had a demon, which finally consumed him—and much of Europe.

What I am about to say will not be very popular, but here goes: Although Rush is looking at the near term effects of Obama’s first term and the probable effects of a second term for him, I think it goes much further than that I believe that most people across the “First world and Second World” want to see it be destroyed and rebuilt into something “better”.

I think we passed the tipping point some years ago, it was probably back in the early days of President Clinton. We as a nation and in many ways the rest of the world are heading for a major fall. Perhaps even the fall of civilization itself. Why? I’m not totally sure but I think it’s because the world has become so complex, yet so in our faces via modern communication media.

We know more about what’s occurring on the other side of the world than we do about what’s occurring on the other side of the neighborhood. This has a way of involving us in an emotional way yet leaves us feeling we can do nothing about what we are hearing/seeing.

People are pretty limited in how much they can do or comprehend even locally and yet they are bombarded daily about happenings across the nation and world. The natural reaction is to back off and close the perceptions of what is being presented to them constantly.

Do this often enough and there develops a desire both internally and in the populace at large for the “problem” to go away. And when you get down to it the “problem” for many if not most people is “modern civilization”.

So without going deeper in psychology and sociology I think that civilization collapse will occur because a large portion if not the current majority of human beings want it to occur if only on a subconscious basis.

And if it does happen it’s not going to be pretty at all. I sometimes think of modern “technological” civilization to be like a spinning top. As long as it’s balanced and going fast enough, (Economy), it is stable. Slow it down or unbalance it and it crashes to the ground and soon stops.

It's why if you go to California and you spend time on the coastal areas, you say, "I don't see any problem here." You go to the interior, where much of what California does feeds the world and the country and so forth, you'll see it

You don't need to go there to see it. Just drive into the east side of the tracks in Redwood City or anywhere else with a preponderance of Chavez Markets. Those folks are doing ok leeching off the wealth 1/2 mile away. But make no mistake, it is the third world.

There are a variety of factors and forces. Some people openly call for decivilzing the world by greatly restricting energy use or pushing Hollywood values into the mainstream. Others have a subconscious urge to destroy everything like you implied. A few others have set themselves up to profit off of the collapse.

Although the USA could partially collapse it won't be the end of the world. There will still be the Chicomms waiting to fill the void. It won't be pretty.

You could be very well correct, I think the Chi-Comms have their own internal problems that will boil over if there is any significant “Adventurism” to use their own phrase. Most of their military is actually used internally to keep civil unrest under a modicum of control. Remove some of those forces and their internal problems will overflow.

As far as civilization collapse is concerned, it rarely occurs rapidly it normally takes many years and in the case of the Roman Empire it was over several centuries. I had a teacher who once described it as “two steps forward, one step back”.

The one point that stays constant though is that it is a very painful thing for those involved in it.

In the end it will take a second American revolution to occur in order to end any possible Obama dictatorship

Obama is a symptom.

The theory was wrong, the experiment has failed.

And there are many, many Americans willing and able to stand up and take this country back if need be.

Yes they are, and that is a definite point to consider isn’t it? Unlike all of the other times in our, (Human), history, this time the civilization in question that is collapsing is not doing so in relative vacuum. As the “elites” are always pointing out, the world is now tightly interconnected. What happens in one place will soon reverberate in another.

Unfortunately that also means that if civilization does collapse in one spot it will eventually do so in nearly all of the others. It’s just a matter of time and geography at that point.

So if we finally get smart and start shooting lib/progs the rest of the world will also remove the infestation?

It’s an interesting thought experiment. But no... I don’t think that would occur. Unless maybe you subscribe to the butterfly thesis in Chaos Theory?

Not just governments but most major banks are broke and are only up and running because of money from the FED and artificially low interest rates they are walking the razor’s edge. Most of the largest Mega Banks have derivatives exposures that are 40-50-60 times their total assets, so what happens if Europe does collapse (which is fairly likely) causing them to loose just a modest percentage on those derivatives? ( http://ncrenegade.com/financial/fdic-statistics-read-em-and-weep-ann-barnhardt/ )

Personally I we will see something much like the collapse of Argentina ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yerKMQc7-w&feature=grec_index )but on a global scale.

A s far as the election either way it goes I believe we will soon see social unrest, the closer the election gets the more things will become like walking a mine field and miss step and things can and will exploded.

Despite the CDC’s tongue and cheek presentation for National Preparedness Month, there really are Zombies, just not the kind from George A. Romero films. They have been fed from the Government’s stash and walked among us for years now and many have been caught on film, but it was in a movie it was for real:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4F8ob9nlfY

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2Ykj92c9v8

These and many more like events show (Flash Mobs, OWS, etc) that we have a large entitlement minded population that is violent prone. I think that during a collapse you will see many small businesses wiped out by flash mob looting, and once started it will quickly spread to rape, robbery and murder for murder sake. You will see what I call ‘pocket pogroms’ and if you ain’t ‘Amish’ you better not be around when they come.

I am very much in agreement of the author of this article about what we can look forward to:

When The Music Stops – How America’s Cities May Explode In Violence

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2926391/posts

Many of these ‘zombies’ will think no more about killing you to get ‘stuff’ than zombies in the lastest horror flick and do it just as gruesomely as any of the worse scenes in those same movies.

Many of you who have read my post know I often refer to this quote from Star Trek Deep Space Nine: “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Siege of AR-558 (#7.8)” (1998)

Quark: “Let me tell you something about Hew-mons, Nephew. They’re a wonderful, friendly people, as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people... will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Klingon. You don’t believe me? Look at those faces. Look in their eyes.”

It has repeated been shown throughout history that this is what happens to people once placed under such stressful conditions and yet you would be surprised how many people don’t realize the transformations that can take place under such conditions. And because of their ignorance many won’t even live long learn.

If you want to learn what happens I suggest you read some of Selco’s firsthand experiences in Bosnia:

A Survival Q & A: Living Through SHTF In The Middle Of A War Zone

Clearly there’s a storm coming, as great as a hurricane and like you do when a hurricane comes your way you either prepare to weather it or you become a victim of it.

For those who are just starting or are old hands at prepping you may find my Preparedness Manual helpfull. You can download it at:

http://tomeaker.com/kart/Preparedness1j.pdf

NOTE! THIS IS A FREE DOWNLOAD. I DO NOT MAKE ONE CENT OFF MY PREPAREDNESS MANUAL!

For those of you who haven’t started already it’s time to prepare almost past time maybe. You needed to be stocking up on food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaning supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, a extra couple changes of oil and filters for your car, tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.
As the LDS say “When the emergency is upon us the time for preparedness has past.”

Or as the bible says: A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
NIV Proverbs 22:3

“There is no greater disaster than to underestimate danger.
Underestimation can be fatal.”
