She should be spinning like a top trying to cover for the Mittens. He’s her guy.

Obama has to go! To understand why one has to be able to read, comprehend and maintain a certain amount of information to think. That leaves out about 40% of the public - Obama’s base going into the election.

I don’t see Mitten’s people presenting much information on what Obama has done wrong and what he will do better. Man-o-man. He needs new people.

He sure did. He criticized all of the other candidates as being too extreme. Joe lives in fantasy land now. I do believe he talks to the insiders of the party because now and then he spills out their gossip.

Well, well, well, Laura is NOW complaining bout the timidity of Romney's attack on Obama. If I recall, she was rooting for this guy during the primaries and is now disappointed? We told you so. Romney has ben more agressive against all conservative challengers during the primary than he ever was against Obama. If this is what we can expect from the Romney camp, HE WILL LOSE!!! Obama takes no prisoners. Romney has got to get in the gutter with these assholes, that is where democrats make their stand. Go for the jugular period.

“They [Pravda media] have not engaged in ethical journalism.”

Understatement of the year. The media is a corrupt, left wing propaganda machine.

All the polling data shows Romney behind so they must all be wrong. If the wrong polls keep going this way and Romney loses, I guess that is wrong, too.

The Republican candidate should have been a conservative instead of giving Hussein the blueprint for his healthcare bill in Mass.

Should have had a candidate who is actually not for abortion.

Should have had a candidate who was not for gays adopting kids.

Should have had a candidate who is not for gun control.

The Republican Party has Romney and he is no conservative and that's why Hussein could beat him.

I am a conservative and Romney is not my candidate. I think a financial collapse is coming no matter which non-conservative wins.

Romney: “I am a severe conservative.”

Citizen,

It is doubleplus ungood to point out factual evidence and logical argument. Thinking for yourself and coming to rational conclusions is in violation of dogma. The party pundits say to ‘follow’ and we have always been at wae with Eastasia.

Please report ASAP to your nearest MSM outlet for transport to the re-educational facility.

Wait, didn’t Ann Coulter come on Laura’s show, and the two of them engage in a gigglefest over how “handsome” Romney is?

Welcome to the party, Laura. Reality is tough sometimes.

Who are the people in the GOPe??? We need names. It is pointless to blame the GOPe unless we have names of people who can be purged.

I read that George Will has said that if the GOP can’t beat Obama, they need to get out of politics. That’s a huge start cuz Will is the quentisential inside the beltway conservative. That’s an indication that if Romney loses that the conservative intelligencia will turn on the GOPe, like Kristol, Podhoretz and kruthhammer.

A loss will force a shakeout. Failure to take the senate should result on mcconnells ouster. A loss of 10 or more house seats should require Boehner to step down (Newt stepped down in 1998 when the GOP lost 5-6 seats). We should begin to treat our leaders the way leaders are treated in parliamentary systems like UK Canada and australia. Lose an election, lose your leadership position.

If we went with Gingrich, Perry or Santorum we’d be losing by as much if not more. Gingrich was disgraced when he retired in 1998. He had a 20% approval rating. Gingrich would satisfy the conservative base and that’s it. He’d lose independents by 25 points. Perry is a moron and Santorum lost his senate seat by a wider margin than any incumbent in modern history. Those were our choices. There were no others.

Any half decent GOP candidate should be able to beat Obama this year. Jim Gerarity at NRO wrote this morning that conservatives tend to blame the candidate or the campaign. But Gerarity’s point is the public has a clear choice. Conservatives point out how the culture the schools and media are leftist then wonder why the public favors democrats. Gerarity says we may have to face the fact the voters are increasingly liberal. That shouldn’t mean the GOP becomes liberal. It means we need leadership to move the country to the right.

You're not the first to say that in this thread. I don't doubt you but I do remember when Laura was trying to talk both Santorum and Gingrich into joining together in one ticket and going after Romney. So, I never concluded that she was on Romney's side during the primaries. Am I missing something?

“”The Republican candidate should have been a conservative instead of giving Hussein the blueprint for his healthcare bill in Mass.”””

And who is this conservative you speak of who would be leading obamugabe??? One that ran not one that sat on the sidelines. We didn’t get a conservative because conservatives couldn’t and wouldn’t rally behind one of the candidates who did run. There was so much demand for purity that each conservative candidate was unacceptable to the remaining 80%.

This is the hill we re going to die on. No point complaining about the primaries of 6 months ago.

1. George Will said the same thing.

2. Romney has yet to “start” his campaign so he may surprise us. He has the money.

3. He is more combative than McCain or Dole

4. BUT he is tacking towards the center when he already has a huge lead in Indepedents (15%). He must secure his base as Obama is doing. The Conservatives will either stay home or simply not pull lever for Mitt.

Her and the Daily Caller wanted Mitt now she's fussing. Head to desk.

Yep, she and Ann Coulter. I hope both cheerleaders have open lines to Romney and his campaign. He has the money to toughen up his ads, but it's still very early.

The Marxist has been campaigning for over a year.

Her statement, taken at face value, is germane.

If the GOP can’t beat Obama, it’s time for a new party.

MittenMan is not losing. These polls are lying through their teeth. There is no way Mittens can be winning independents by 14 and still be losing by 6 (CNN poll). NOT POSSIBLE.

A ham sandwich should be able to beat OMarxist but with the schools, media, welfare recipients and those on government payroll are the only things making this close.
