Remembering 9/11 in prayers today.
So far the show is as usual. Jim’s opening monlogue mostly on economics and the Chicago teachers strike.

Maybe Chicago’s teacher strike will be the domino that starts the anti-Obama cascade.
The 7 am hour is the Q&R 9/11 Show. It is very powerful. I cry everytime.
Never forget.
I have a hard time hearing it all over again too. But we can’t ever forget what happened. We have to be reminded that what we are fighting is so insidious. So evil. The only way to combat it is to strengthen our own faith in God and our Judeo-Christian faith, and go back to our founding principles and fight for both.
Yes very difficult to hear. It stirs the memories of those doomed people, some jumping to their deaths to avoid the flames and choking smoke.
We can never forget.
Meanwhile the Chicago strike...it could very well lead to total chaos. Of course Chicago was pretty much there already. What a shame. The few times I was there I found it a wonderful city. That was 30 years ago though.
I will never forget that day. I remember that I was driving to work that morning on a beautiful sunny day, listening to John Cigna on KDKA (before I discovered Quinn). He was saying that it was “9-11 day”.
Little did we know that a few hours later people would be calling 911 in a panic.
Of all that gets me about that day is this - Flight 93.
Quinn’s tribute to them canNOT be topped other than by God Himself.
I remember that exact quote by Cigna...and how about an hour and a half later I HAD to get KDKA on my Walkman to hear their updates—buildings downtown were being evacuated (93 was going SW from Cleveland airspace) the friend i babysat for was quickly walking down 20 some flights of steps from PPG Bldg—and I was relaying to her (by cell) what the radio was reporting. My youngest & the little boy i babysat were watching nickelodean (I using earbuds for radio) and that network even ran a crawl about the attacks. I can remember it all.
Tired of hearing a commercial that calls for a call to service on 911. I have a call RELOAD!!!!
P. S. Put the damn Towers back!!
It was a frightening day. I recall thinking that it might be the start of martial law, shortages, chaos. We are more resilient a people than I thought.
So, anyone going to hear Biden at the 93 Memorial? Sheesh . . .
