A thug followed a stranger into a Queens deli and repeatedly stabbed him in the buttocks, cops said today.

The assault, seen on shocking surveillance footage, occurred inside the store on 63rd Road in Rego Park around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

The video shows the thug – wearing a white T-shirt, grey sweat pants and a black cap – enter the store before quickly pouncing on his unsuspecting victim and violently stabbing him in the buttocks several times before bolting from the store.

There is a missing piece of information that is highly descriptive and helpful to the community that appears to have been withheld from this otherwise informative report.

Hate crime? Looks like he followed the victim in from the street. He was probably tailing him, pun intended, for a while. What I found interesting is that the victim didn’t look back or turn around while being repeatedly stabbed.

I just read a book review in the WSJ, on a book entitled, The Victims' Revolution.. It's about how Progressives have promoted the concept of victimhood to further their political agenda, and how it is damaging society. One of the issues is that minorities are not responsible for their actions because they have been the victim of societal injustice. They gave the example of a woman who was arrested for child abuse for scalding her four year olds hands with boiling water and then locking him in a bedroom, lying in blood, urine and feces. Academics have argued that she wasn't guilty because the woman was a victim herself. The last paragraph of the review: Readers might be tempted to dismiss the danger posed by "scholarship" that yields such nonsense. But identity studies concepts have filtered down from the ivory tower ino our civic and political life. They rear their ugly heads, or example, when students of American law are taught that individual moral fault is a myth to transcend. Such ideas are, as the author writes, "a betrayal, in the profoundest sense, of the promise of America."

There's been a lot of these "random" and "unexplained" attacks lately. During my time in Jerusalem (Old City), knife attacks like this one were common. An Arab would usually wait in a dark and crowded passageway, step from the shadows, and stab a passing Israeli from behind. Then, blend in with the passing crowd and make his escape.

there was a spate of buttocks slashing in Fairfax Co. VA last year, done in clothing stores, by a hispanic attacker on young women. he was eventually caught, this past January or so, in Peru.

There it is again, those two words, “God given”, right in the link that you sent me.

As I keep repeating, those two words that were the cause of such dissension at the Democrat convention, go to the heart of the difference between Democrats and Republicans. Those two words explain it all.

If the Democrats cannot say the words, God given, they are denying that the existence of God-given rights of man. If there are no God-given rights, all rights must necessarily emanate from the State, the State is supreme.

With the State elevated to the highest power, the “We the people” element of the constitution is moot and the checks and balances are eliminated entirely. The constitution becomes meaningless.
