From the article: The school districts head of security approached the speakers out of concern for their safety. (He) told me he thought it probably would be a good idea if he took us to our cars, said Colburn. He said all those people that had cleared out were outside the front doors waiting for us.
The security officer escorted Colburn and her husband through a separate exit to the back of the building, where he then drove them to their vehicle in the main parking lot. Plain-clothes security officers walked Hein to his car, out of the same concern.

Our teachers spend lots of time on stopping bullying in schools, Stagr wrote. Well, this group could have taught a class in HOW TO BULLY.
These accounts, many of which are directly supported by video evidence, contradict the report of one DTEA official quoted by local news reporter Darin Moriki:
There was no anger or hostility among those people who came tonight, said Missy Salter, a District 12 Educators Association executive board member and Shadow Ridge Middle School sixth-grade mathematics teacher.
Very interesing... The Teachers bully and try to shout down anyone who objects to their high-handedness and demands for more money to be paid with taxes extorted from the property owners and then they deny it happened even with video recordings showing that it did.
Oh so typical of Thugs...
Privatize it all.
In the old days you just sent the Pinkertons in to bust union idiots’ heads.
Ahhh the good old days.....
Mr. Hein, they don't give a damn about the students, which is why they walked out before the Board spoke.
Thanks for the ping. An unemployed teacher shot the back window out of our vehicle, as we drove by her house on May the 1st (several miles away, on route to town). Didn’t personally know her. We dared not call the police because of ties seen over the years between federally funded, local bureaucrats/recipients. Third public school teacher neighbor who’s been known to have drug problems.
That is insane. There is no way I could live around there. If the local cops can’t do anything what about the state police?
Back window’s easy enough to replace, and foreclosures have started against some of the local political/regulator class. My guess is that they’ll all have defaulted and will head back toward the cities within a couple more years or so (bond collapse followed by repudiation, austerity measures, etc.)—about 2015, maybe.
Word around those of us (in my area) more conservative and from private sector backgrounds, is to be calm, cool and not sucked in by relatively trivial attacks from socialist sirens. Let them fight with each other instead for now. We have much work to do to save and shore-up for the economically and politically uglier near future (and smaller government to follow).
