Team Obama slammed the summer's surprise hit film "2016: Obama's America" earlier today.
Now, it's Dinesh D'Souza's turn.
D'Souza, the soft-spoken conservative who co-stars and co-directed the film, calls Obama's attempts to destroy the film's credibility "a characteristic mix of name calling and false allegations."

Thanks for the link and article.
Roger Ebert still hasn’t reviewed the film even though it’s been playing Chicago for weeks.
And nobody should send him a “screener” as he blogged. He has already been caught once WALKING OUT OF A THEATER minutes into a movie and writing a full review. If you send him a screening video, just put the first 20 minutes on it followed by a color bar test pattern. See if he notices.
Perhaps this is the replacement for the "hope and change" tagline we've been looking for.
Really frustrating to hear how he’s still being ignored by the MSM even though this thing has now outgrossed Al Gore’s and all Michael Moore’s movies except one. Just imagine how much more steam it could pick up if he got coverage on more networks.
I wonder what network he’s trying to get it aired on before the election. Is that possible or are some kind of “equal time” laws going to kill the chance? It’s certainly admirable if he’s trying to use the millions in profits to buy air time to show it to more people like that.
The MSM doesn’t want to give the documentary airtime. They don’t want this film to exceed Moore’s. D’Souza’s film would surely do that if it received the same PR push and exposure Michael Moore’s documentaries enjoyed.
Furthermore, they don’t want this film to impact voters at this critical moment during the presidential campaign.
Once had an exchange with Ebert on the film, Gods and Generals. He is so unhinged on the issue of slavery that he cant imagine that confederate officers were actually gentlemen, or that slaves might have any real loyalty to their masters. Of course, he is physically, and that added to his dogmas, make him an unreliable judge on any substantive issue. Over all a good judge of the kind of films ordinary people like. BUT....

Ebert is married to a Black female lawyer.
I'll say it, and moreso.
One needs to look at the post-colonial Marxist literature, especially of Africa, to see where Obama gets his animus.
2016: Obamas America Filmmaker Responds to Presidents Attacks: I Think They Are Scared And They Have a Reason to Be

In an exclusive interview with TheBlaze on Tuesday, Dinesh DSouza, creator of 2016: Obamas America, said President Barack Obama and his campaign are now attacking him because they are scared of his documentary and what it reveals.
Its true that with the 2012 presidential election just around the corner, Obama and his campaign cant be happy to see that DSouzas anti-Obama documentary is now the second biggest political documentary of all time, surpassing popular liberal productions like Michael Moores Bowling for Columbine and Al Gores An Inconvenient Truth.
That may be why Obamas so-called Truth Team attacked DSouza and his film openly and aggressively on BarackObama.com last week, calling it a deliberate distortion of President Obama and his worldview and DSouza a right-wing author peddling conspiracy theories. Or perhaps 2016 has grown so popular that the Obama campaign cant ignore it any longer.
The Pravda Media continues to blackout the summer's film success story.
