KEYWORDS:
WMUR has posted the results of yesterday's primary election. Three democrats and three republicans vied to replace departing democrat John Lynch in purple New Hampshire. With 92% of precincts reporting, democrat Maggie Hasaan (43,162) and republican Ovide Lamontagne (69,549) have won the right to represent their parties in November. Of the 181,526 votes counted, 79,710 (44%) were cast for a democrat and 101,816 (56%) were cast for a republican. It's difficult to say if this is an indication of enthusiasm or the result of newly implemented voter ID rules. Either way it's good news for republicans.

Its exciting news. Is it possible that NH might be the first state to break read from the New England stronghold the Rats have held for so long?

One can hope.

It will be nice to see Lamontagne get the governorship after he was so gracious in losing the senate primary to Ayotte.

Hassan = Annie Kuster, Jr.

Once again, pro-life voters in NH's 1st District will have NO CHOICE for Congress, as GOP pro-death candidate Charles Bass (spit) faces off against the pro-death daughter of Satan Annie McLean-Kuster (spit); the darling of NARAL and Planned Parenthood. Wonder how 'Christians' will be voting for Bass?

NH used to be a solid GOP (and libertarian) state, only recently went purple.

Like many other conservatives in New Hampshire; I am voting with my feet...we’re leaving.
