Within hours after President Barack Obama turned down Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's request to meet on the sidelines of a United Nations General Assembly gathering in New York, White House officials were working on damage control for Obama's re-election campaign.
By late Tuesday, the White House made sure media outlets were fully informed the two leaders had spent “an hour-long phone call” discussing the Iranian nuclear threat. The call, framed as “part of their ongoing consultations,” nevertheless was unplanned and clearly was a response to the instant coverage of Obama's rejection of Israel's “greatest ally.”
It did nothing to hide Obama's cold response to Israel's routine request for a meeting on the sidelines of the upcoming United Nations General Assembly gathering. It will be the first time an Israeli head of state will attend the gathering, in fact, without meeting with an American counterpart.
The White House attempted to spin the matter with a denial that any formal offer for a meeting had been made:
"Contrary to reports in the press, there was never a request for Prime Minister Netanyahu to meet with President Obama in Washington, or was a request for a meeting ever denied,” the statement read.

First, the Obama administration refuses to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister so President Obama can go on the Letterman Show, then the Obama Administration *APOLOGIZES* for “hurting Muslim feelings” right before our ambassador is murdered in Libya!
So much for Obama’s foreign policy prowess (so says the MSM).

We have to get this guy out of office. These are very disturbing times.
From a political perspective, we need to keep the criticisms of this administration coming fast and incessantly, from every direction we can. They appear to have a hard time dealing with acute issues that they haven’t developed some ‘spin’ for.

I used to belong to a local Jewish-Christian dialogue group which could be better described as fifteen liberals & me in the same room.
If I supported prayer in public schools, that made me a Klan-loving Nazi (this is South Carolina).
If I supported Israel, I was a Bible thumping hayseed who wanted to eat popcorn while watching the battle of Armageddon.
If I objected to gay “rights” then I was wrong & so is the Bible!
Ironically, the two rabbis who attended wound up in the conservative corner with me, and the priest was an insufferable gay lefty who hated the Pope. Out of there!

I think our government saw it coming and allowed it to go forward. I think Mrs. Clinton and Mr. O knew knew exactly. An incredibly sad time for America. No patriotism and no leadership from this administration.
