(CNSNews.com) - On the day after the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans were killed in Benghazi, the White House on Wednesday morning released a schedule showing that President Obama would continue with his planned campaign trip to Las Vegas.
Before he leaves, the schedule indicated, Obama will "deliver a statement" in the White House Rose Garden at 10:35 a.m., the White House said.
Obama on Wednesday morning confirmed the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens, the administration’s point man during the Libyan revolution, in a statement condemning the "outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans."
"While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants," Obama said.

Obama just made a very weak statement on what happened yesterday in Egypt and Libya. No mention of Egypt nor of our commitment to the rights of free speech.

Excellent post! Obama's apology makes it very clear that he values "sensitivities" over free speech.
This is disastrous, not only for Americans but for the entire free world. Is Obama saying that everyone, everywhere, must cease an activity if it offends islamist sensitivities?
Must we not read a book, or not watch a movie, if it offends islamist sensitivities? Will the White House be issuing a list of banned activities shortly?
Mark my words, if another Reagan does not appear soon, within 10 years that list will be a reality.
