WASHINGTON - Intelligence experts and U.S. government officials are starting to view the attack in Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others in Benghazi as a coordinated attack.
Several sources have said they believe it was a planned operation and have pointed out several developments that seem to support the possibility.
The President has ratcheted up security at embassies worldwide because of the incident.

Officials within the Obama administration have reportedly said the deadly attack on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi, which killed ambassador Chris Stevens, was planned in advance....
CNN’s source claimed “Tuesday's attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was planned in advance, and the attackers used the protest outside the consulate as a diversion”.
Some media reports have also suggested ‘Innocence of Muslims’, the scandalous film that many blame for sparking the protest, was used as a pretext for the attacks on US embassies in Libya and Cairo.
The president acted stupidly by apologizing.
You mean that it happened on the 11th Anniversary of 9/11 was on purpose? /s
Maybe we should recruit Afghan security forces to protect our embassies worldwide since they do such a bang up job preventing suicide bombers from killing our troops.
The families of those dead Marines should sue the old media for this.

One angle not talked about, maybe the ambassadors for Libya & Egypt were the targets? What did they know? Who authorized the apology from the Egypt embassy (for nothing)?

This makes the state department apology response all the more stupid and naive. Most of these savages aren’t out looking on the internet for Terry Jones. And if they were, they would find something about American culture to riot over every single day. Its staged. Its a deliberate attack on the United States to show Islamic strength and American weakness and impotence. Yet Obama doesn’t have the guts to retaliate. And we are still negotiating debt relief to Egypt. We need to start kicking some ass and then these savages will respect and fear us. And if they act up, they get another ass-kicking.
