President Obama claims Libyan security forces fought beside Americans against attackers on Tuesday, but a Libyan official says they gave up consulate personnel to the Islamists who murdered them. Libya's Deputy Interior Minister Wanis al-Sharif says the consulate's security forces moved Ambassador Christopher Stevens and other personnel to a second, safer building once the attacks began. But, he continues, the security forces told the attackers which building Stevens was hiding in, effectively handing him over.

November is Coming! Obozo Must GO!
But he killed Osama. /sarc
New and disturbing details in this story.
nobody is talking about how the Libyan Revolution loosed FIVE THOUSAND SA-12 Strella MANPADS missiles out to....WHO KNOWS.
Khadafi knew well about air-raids, right?
These are the light anti-aircraft missiles that will NOT be fooled by simple counter-measures like flares, etc.
They don’t know WHO has them —hazard your own guess? I’ll bet it’s the same as mine....
Hey, how is Obama supposed to know the truth? He doesn’t meet with his Intelligence people anymore.
This can’t be true.
Hillary Clinton (She-Who-Cannot-Be Doubted) said the Libyan people and the government all love us (praise their savior Barack H. Obama) and that “This was an attack by a small and savage group”.
Probably just a few disgruntled muzzie “yoots” who don’t even know each other and have no idea that it was the 9/11 anniversary.
"Frankly, we are not clear on the circumstances between the time that he got separated from his from the rest of the group inside the burning building, to the time that we were notified that he was in a Benghazi hospital. And again, we were not able to see him until his body was returned to us at the airport."
"With regard to the security arrangements, I think you will understand that we never talk in detail about how our security is arranged. And we particularly dont talk about security arrangements for personal security arrangements for senior level personnel."
"What I can tell you is that security in Benghazi included a local guard force outside of the compound on which we rely, which is similar to the way we are postured all over the world. We had a physical perimeter barrier, obviously. And then we had a robust American security presence inside the compound, including a strong component of regional security officers. But Im not going to go any further than that on the specifics."
"There are reports out there that I cannot confirm that he was brought to the hospital by Libyans who found him. Obviously, he had to get there somehow. No Americans were responsible for that. But again, Im not in the position to confirm because we frankly dont know how he got from where Americans last saw him. And again, we were told that he was at the hospital, but we didnt see him there ourselves."
Perfect... you just framed the left’s argument in four words... or five if you are biden or obama!
With all Stevens’ cultural and liguisitic insights into the Middle East he didn’t see this coming?
So what changed between August 27, 2012 and September 11, 2012? Why wasn’t our Ambassador and our Consulate Protected? The State Department knew about the danagers in Libya!!!
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE
Bureau of Consular Affairs
August 27, 2012
The Department of State warns U.S. citizens against all but essential travel to Libya. The incidence of violent crime, especially carjacking and robbery, has become a serious problem. In addition, political violence in the form of assassinations and vehicle bombs has increased in both Benghazi and Tripoli. This Travel Warning replaces the Travel Warning dated September 22, 2011, and notes the resumption of full consular services to U.S. citizens on August 27, 2012.
Libyans cast ballots on July 7 in elections deemed to be free and fair according to election observers. Libyas General National Congress replaced the Transitional National Council in August 2012 and will lead the country until elections are held on the basis of a new constitution. Despite this progress, violent crime continues to be a problem in Tripoli, Benghazi, and other parts of the country. In particular, armed carjacking and robbery are on the rise. In addition, political violence, including car bombings in Tripoli and assassinations of military officers and alleged former regime officials in Benghazi, has increased. Inter-militia conflict can erupt at any time or any place in the country. Seven Iranian Red Crescent officials were kidnapped July 31 in Benghazi by local militia members, and as of the date of this warning, they have not been released. There have also been several reports of militias briefly apprehending and detaining foreigners due to perceived or actual violations of Libyan law. The Embassys ability to intervene in such cases remains limited, as these groups are neither sanctioned nor controlled by the Libyan government.
U.S. Embassy Tripoli resumed full consular services for U.S. citizens in Libya on August 27, 2012.

Installation of the Muslim Brotherhood into control of multiple countries has been Obozo’s aim from the beginning.
His true believer staff is incompetent. He is not. He is Treacherous, Traitorous.
Lying Commie B_Tard.
Here’s an alternate account of what transpired. This makes a lot more sense to me.
“Obozo Must GO!”
Send him to Lybia...
This was not a simple mob killing. It was an assassination.
The left does not understand. They think they can "use" the Muzzies to gain power. They cannot fathom that the Muzzies will never share power with anyone. Hate rules their very being. In this case the leftist are the "useful idiots".
Obama, like all Liberals, are following the Carter doctrine. They believe that apologizing to everyone who hates us will make them love us..it didnt work in 1979 and its not working today. Obama is a clone of Carter plain and simple. He like all Dems follow the same logic
