Did Morris point out any flaws in the Fox poll?
The Fox poll had Kerry beating Bush by 5% on election day 2004. No doubt BOR believed that poll too.
FOX has joined the others in their efforts to do whatever it takes to get the Kenyan reelected.
They must be polling those dead likely voters again.
What is going on with Fox News polls? Why are they oversampling democrats? Have they gone liberal or are they producing disinformation to lull the Obama campaign into complacency and overconfidence? Any ideas?
No specifically as he hadn’t had a chance to look at it. But he did make the point that all these pollsters are using 2008 model and are oversampling Dems and under sampling Republicans. If you look at poll, that is what Fox did.
Let Obama think he is winning. Hopefully he will keep doing to America what he has been doing since January of 2009. The poll that matters will happen in November.
Has the Kenyan ever been behind Romney in a FOX “poll”? I really don’t think he has.
I’m not trying to annoy you, but I did a web search recently on Fox News polls from the Bush/Kerry election and their poll just a few days before the election had Bush leading by about 2.5 points, if I recall correctly. I was looking into the change in Fox News polls and how they seem to be slanting their polls now in favor of Zero. If you search for those polls from 2004 on Google I think you’ll find the same poll results that I found.
Steady Leader Obama
Is a Hard Worker Obama
Has Strong Moral Values Obama
Has Right Experience Obama"
The Fox pollsters found the brain dead.
Poll samples registered voters, not likely voters.
Any poll of registered voters shows Dems up by five or so more than they should be.
A “registered voter” poll is quicker, cheaper and Demmier.
BOR is not famous for his critical thinking skills. Come to think of it, I’m not sure why he is famous at all.
The islamist news network produces a poll that favors the islamist n chief.
Go figure
that poll must be more about race sampleing than democrat sampleing
A few—BOR never lets him get too wonkish. He said that the older (meaning pre ‘08 results) 11% “standby” of how blacks, Latinos, youth would vote was being replaced by a 13% standby (based on ‘08 results), and that that assumption was flat-out false because that many minority voters could not be relied on to vote again for Obama this go-around. The “standby” (I think) I’m talking about is what pollsters substitute for pollees they can’t reach, a condition far more extensive now than in previous years, thanks to caller-ID, etc. It’s not just an oversampling of rats; it’s the metrics they use to calculate what the response SHOULD be if folks were actually responding to the pollsters.
He’s the Paris Hilton of old blowhards, famous for being famous. He’d have been a regular on Hollywood Squares, back in the day.
Those that knew better who failed to convince those that didn't know better will suffer the most.
what is the ratio of Republicans vs. Democrats in battleground states. Is the population more Dem or more Republican..or more indelpendant
Polls before the real polls on election day are a waste of time. If you like your candidate, don’t let polls discourage you. Polls should not be used to support or undermine your opinion.
Just do your best to determine the right thing to do, and do it on election day.
not braind dead. that looks like a minority pole.
Obama a hard worker? LOL. This.can’t be a serious poll
MSM is trying the best to help Obama.
The Fox News poll is based on live telephone interviews on landlines and cell phones from September 9 to September 11 among 1,056 randomly-chosen likely voters nationwide. “Likely voters are registered voters who are considered most likely to vote in the November presidential election. The poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). For the total sample, it has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points”
But, but, zero is a hard worker. You don’t think its easy playing golf every day do you? It takes work to walk to and from AF1 and land in and out of fundraising events. Of course, its also hard work making sure the wookie is happy. Cause if the wookie isn’t happy - no one is./s
I don't know if the Fox pollsters published online their final adjusted poll in 2004 election, but I clearly remember a Fox talking head reporting the Kerry 5% lead on election day. And a day before...
Reported here on FR, that on November 1st 2004, a day before the election, Kerry had a 3% lead over Bush:
(November 1, 2004) Fox News Poll: Kerry 48%, Bush 45% (RV)
Where I said in post #6 four years ago, "On election day in 2004, the FOX poll had Kerry winning by 5%."

What was the breakdown of the voters i.e. Republicans vs. Democrats who made up the electorate in 2010?
>> Come to think of it, Im not sure why he is famous at all.
‘cause he has a mouth the size of a train tunnel, and the patient, persuasive demeanor of a mick barroom brawler, and that skill set is in demand on teevee.
(I’m just guessing here.)
I think I read 36-36 but am not 100 pct sure
But Fox staff has always been Dems .
I recall 80 % vote Dem on this Manhattan based operation voted Dem in 2008.
I know the local Tampa Fox was 99 % Leftist when my wife worked there and she guessed 50 % gay.
BOR is a DEM .
He pals are Barb-WA WA and professional adulteress Sally Quinn !
He fools no one .
Found it; bookmarked a link to it in my web browser. Look at this poll released two days before the poll you referenced. Geez, Fox poll results moved significantly within just two days:

A horse race boosts ratings.
If the media were to report how unpopular Obama really is they wouldn't make nearly the amount of money they do when they manipulate the numbers to be neck and neck.
Maybe this is a head fake, with polling served up to broaden their audience to include more of the stupid. Their polling has always been discounted and the only attraction it could possibly hold would be to the stupid, who might be convinced how fair, how balanced they are.
FOX uses the master, Rasmussen, for the real take away and use him regularly.
And don’t forget his man buddy Dennis Miller, who made a fortune making fun of conservatives before 9/11, then supposedly had an awakening and became “conservative”. A “conservative” who still proudly claims he is pro-abortion and pro-homo marriage, but he believes in a strong military, so now he claims he’s “conservative” and talks about the “left” all the time. Well ground control to Dennis Miller, you’ve been a liberal all your life and you’re still a liberal.
Thanks
The poll was conducted by::::
Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R).
But I won't go there.
The Constitution means nothing to bambi and bambi means nothing to me.
Hi,
looks like your poll is “doctored” the dates 28-29 - the 8 is not the same as the 8 below in the scoring. and the 9 is too big.
I realise it’s an old poll and all, but just saying the fonts are different.
Conservatives should refuse to watch Fox News for a couple of weeks. Ailes might see the error of his ways. While he’s at it, he could fire Juan Williams and
Bob Beckel.
It looks OK to me. I think what you’re seeing is very slight optical illusions that make the 8s and 9s look different depending on what characters are next to them in the document. It’s also possible that the software that produced the document does not make all the characters exactly the same size and shape in all parts of the document. But I doubt that anyone “photoshopped” this document—no motive for anyone to do that.
Just remember Sheppy Smith has his slimy left wing paws involved in setting these push polls up.
“Just do your best to determine the right thing to do, and do it on election day.”
Unfortunately these polls are propaganda targeting those that can be influemced by a “Jump on the bandwagon” campaign by the left.
Besides the electoral college isn’t based on the total of the popular vote which would permit states like California to sway the election into the Democrat’s lap.
The above scenario being a leftist wet dream!
WE VOTERS MADE THEM #1
AND WE VERY WELL CAN UNDO THAT AS WELL...
JUST TURN OFF FOX.
