The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is upping its investment in the Nevada Senate race, adding a new round of ads starting Friday, according to a source tracking the race there.
The DSCC has added $508,000 in statewide broadcast and cable ads, for the period spanning Sept. 14 and Sept. 24, the source said. That comes on top of the $2.3 million in DSCC ad reservations Emily reported in July.
The race is a competitive contest between Republican Sen. Dean Heller and Democratic Rep. Shelley Berkley. Both Heller and outside GOP groups have pummeled Berkley over a House Ethics Committee investigation into her votes supporting a kidney treatment program connected to her husband. Democrats remain convinced the election is winnable due to Hellers support for the Ryan budget, the GOPs poor standing with Latino voters and the likelihood that President Obama will carry the state.
I Think The Adelson’s can match that in a Nevada second
The Dems just threw $320,000 to Connecticut to help the flailing Chris Murphy retain his seat.
They have more money than we were led to believe.
Hopefully wasted money. I know we’re going with Heller in our house here in NV.
Helping keep mankind warm for 65 years.
