Foster McCollum White Baydoun (FMW)B, a national public opinion polling and voter analytics consulting firm based in Michigan and representing the combined resources of Foster McCollum White & Associates (Troy Michigan) and Baydoun Consulting (Dearborn Michigan) conducted a telephone-automated polling random survey of Michigan registered and most likely November 2012 General election voters to determine their voting and issue preferences on the Presidential election, United States Senate and the six statewide ballot proposals and trust and knowledge issues regarding the Presidential campaign.

Michigan’s in play! Woo-hoo!
Wait...Obama only leads in Michigan by 2%??
That’s EXCELLENT news!
Someone call Romney. Put the ads back in Michigan. It’s in play.
You live in the Detoit, Lansing, or Grand Rapids area and a call comes in late at night from an unknown stranger. You have seen and read about how the human debris in the Obama regime operate. Do you admit to that unknown stranger that you plan to vote for someone besides Obama and then have to live in fear for your family and posessions?
ping
We’ve really locked down our voting process and things are changing because of it.
Come on Michigan! The waters fine! It’s OK to display your patriotism and believe in America Again. We need all you Reagan democrats back to evict this marxist Carter clone!
Pity it has to be Romney that MI finally flips for but anyone but the disaster in chief this year
Wait a sec.... they are polling the living but the dead always vote for the democrats!
I can dream!
But, but, but, Osama is dead and GM is alive!!!!
Romney will kill Obama outside of Detroit.
Good report, Perdogg. Thanks.
I live in the most left-wing part of Grand Rapids, which is surrounded by an area more conservative than Utah. If you’ve seen an episode of Portlandia, that is what this area is like.
I am stunned how little Obama love there is on display around here. Less than 4 yard signs, I think some leftover from 2004, maybe a couple of actual 2012 bumper stickers.
In 2008 the DNC HQ (in the same part of town) was packed with people (mostly moron college kids). Now it isn’t even a “thing” to be in to.
Not saying this part of GR is going Romney, but this is the most intense part of the city to see outward displays of O-Lovin, and if they aren’t dancing in the streets so to speak, then we have something going here.
EXACTLY! Just what many people probably envision when that poll call comes in after dark.
I think it has a lot less to do with Romney than it has to do with our own local actions and the fact that Obama is just so damn bad.
Lots of Chaldeans in Michigan who will be less than thrilled with events in North Africa.
The dead voters have largely been purged from the voter rolls along with the illegals. In my opinion, we’ve got the best SOS in the country and she’s checkmated the left at every turn.

I just saw a poll yesterday or the day before that Obanana was up +10 in MI. Could this be a fake poll to make Romney believe MI is winnable and thus make him spend(waste) money there ?
The obligatory “Let’s show the GOP up in Michigan so they waste resources there” poll. I wonder if it might bite them back this time.
You live in Eastown! Hahaha! I immediately thought of Portlandia when I was there a couple of months ago, at the Fulton Market and surrounding area!

In 2010 the GOP ran the table and the democrats didn’t pick up a single seat above the county level. This year the democrats appear to be concentrating on holding the seats they have and aren’t putting up much of a fight for new ones.
LOL! Bullseye!
More Rainbow and Tibetan prayer flags than American ones!
Wow. I did not know Michigan had accomplished that!!!!! Great job.
Yes, but also a lot of Arab Moslems in and around Dearbornistan who will vote for the candidate of the party that panders to Islamic extremists by, e.g., not admitting that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
Romney pulling out of Michigan? No way! He was born and raised there and his dad was elected governor three times.
Last I heard, his name isn't John McCain.
If this poll is accurate, it means that Romney is doing better in Michigan than in Ohio. I say that because as of today Rasmussen has Obama up by 1 in Ohio, and Rasmussen tends to weight D/R/I pretty accurately.
If Obama’s only up 2 points in MI after his convention bounce, then it’s over for him there.
This is great news. People forget in 2010 Mi elected Rep governor ,house and a super majority in the Senate. They also kicked out a dem house member who voted for Obamacare in Stubick.
In 2010 we elected a republican governor, secretary of state, attorney general, 2 conservative supreme court justices, picked up 4 US house seats, kept control of state senate and took the house.
We really did run the table on the democrats and the tea party is having a lot of success in state politics.
We didn’t have a senate race in 2010 but if we did I think we would have won it. Pete Hoekstra is running a tight race with Debbie Stabenow and any help that can be given would be greatly appreciated. Hoekstra was on FOX earlier tonight talking about Libya and reminding people that he’s not that far out of the loop on defense and international issues.
You mean, there actually ARE some American flags in those neighborhoods?
Well, mine. :P
That's great news to hear. Shows the power of electing decent GOPers at the state level.
We got voter ID bills through the state senate and house here in NC, but the Dem governour vetoed it, and we couldn't quite override (but almost). Hopefully Pat McCrory will beat Sugar Tea Bev Perdue this year, and we'll get a fairly decent Republican as governour.
I'm glad Michigan seems to be in play. I hate to tell you and the other Goode guys, but after seeing the latest nonsense with the embassies, Obama's apologies, his ineptitude, etc., I have switched over to the ABO side and am (very grudgingly) supporting Romney/Ryan...well, mostly Ryan actually. This doesn't mean I don't think the GOP needs to be RADICALLY overhauled, and I'd love to see Romney be a one-termer by being primaried and beaten by a true conservative in the 2016 primaries.
Unlike most of the ABOers on here, I won't be telling you guys that "you're just voting for Obama," etc. I can still understand why you wouldn't support Romney.
