Do not know much about dogs, but have to agree. Looks like something a feminazi would do to a male dog............

Great Danes are notorious for being skinny dogs as pups. They usually fill out after 18 months. I’ve known a few people who have owned them.
Of course, I am assuming they are feeding the dog normally. It probably would have stunted its growth, if it wasn’t eating everything it should be eating.

It looks like she ate some of his food; she’s wide in the rear, and he’s too skinny.

I see that the house has tile floors and no furniture.
I cannot imagine cleaning up after that monster.

I love dogs and he looks handsome to me but of course he could use some weight. Most GD’s do look thin but he is way too thin.

I think the camera angle exaggerates his height just a bit.

It’s called ‘forced perspective.’ She’s very obviously standing farther back than he is, exaggerating his height. He is, however, enormous if he’s almost 4 ft. tall at the shoulder.
Certain lines of Danes can grow very large but have very short life expectancies due to the higher risk of hip dysplasia and other large-dog maladies, much akin to Warlock Dobies. I hope they studded him to keep that line going.

It’s not just the tail. They can’t keep their legs still, and the result is constant black and blue feet (on the human).
