Kansas election officials said Thursday that they want more information before deciding whether to remove President Barack Obama from the state’s November ballot.
The all-Republican State Objections Board heard arguments Thursday on a claim from a Manhattan, Kan., resident that Obama is not eligible to be president because his father was from Kenya. The resident, Joe Montgomery, also questions whether Obama has a valid birth certificate.
The notion that Obama was born anywhere other than in Hawaii has long been discredited, and the White House released his long-form birth certificate last year. Hawaii officials also have repeatedly confirmed his citizenship. His mother was a Kansas native.
The state board is led by Secretary of State Kris Kobach, an ardent voter ID proponent who during his successful 2010 campaign suggested Obama should produce his long-form birth certificate to quell doubts about his status. The board’s other members are Attorney General Derek Schmidt and Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer.
The board, which would have the final say on the ballot absent a court challenge, plans to meet again Monday and may rule then. Time to make changes is running out, however, as ballots to overseas military personnel must be mailed before the end of September...
Montgomery also argued that to be eligible for president, both of Obama’s parents had to be U.S. citizens when he was born, another long-circulating claim that includes citations of U.S. Supreme Court decisions, some more than a century old...
But the board said Thursday it wants certified documents from Hawaii. Kobach plans to have his staff contact officials in Arizona and Mississippi, which also have looked into such issues. Hawaii sent Arizona official verification of Obama’s birth records...

They seem to be fighting it from the more “proper” stance of “jus sanguinis” vs. the ‘not born here’ meme.
It says pretty clearly on the “official” BC released by the regime that his father was not an American. He was, in fact, a British citizen, which, by law and longstanding legal precedent, disqualified Obama from holding the office of the president.
I think the problem that a lot of these courts face is knowing that as soon as one of them approves the removal of Obama from a state ballot, SCOTUS will be inundated with calls to vacate every law he’s signed and have him arrested for defrauding the American electorate.
No court in the land, no matter how conservative, wants to bring the sort of Constitutional crisis upon us that this would invite.
Personally, I’m all for it. Out of the chaos that would ensue, I believe we would be stronger as a nation.

You are perhaps looking at this from the wrong perspective. The Democrats (and one or two republican’ts) tried several times to change the definition via fiat Congressional ruling, rather than follow the Constitutional means to alter the Constitution. Those efforts failed until McCain sold his filthy soul to be declared ‘eligible’ thus ushering in room for a none Natural Born Citizen to be declared eligible. The proper persepctive is to realize that the Congress critters have manipulated the Constitution into nullity. This has given rise to the pResident ruling via executive rder and a legion of regulators and unelected czars. Such power will not be given back to We The People. The Republic is dead. Long live the Republic.

If Hawaii does not send THE actual Obama long-form Birth Certificate....then the Kansas board needs to pull Obama from the ballot. Anything else would mean that the board broke the law and knowingly allowed a non-eligible candidate to remain on the ballot.
Unfortunately, GOP and GOP Media have pretty much been Obama Supporters on this issue, so I hold little hope. The GOP and GOP Media, by not pursuing the “Birther” issue, are actively helping Obama get re-elected. Kansas can prove me wrong, though....

Whenever somebody sees yellow journalism like this, you need to let them know that the members of this panel have been served legal notice that any Certification of Nomination for Obama is known to be perjurious now that HI registrar Alvin Onaka has confirmed that Obama’s HI BC is legally non-valid.

It’s encouraging to see that they are checking into AZ and MDEC, because if they look into this they will realize that Onaka really DID confirm that Obama’s HI BC is non-valid. Every state SOS and AG has been informed of this fact.
Bob Bauer was also informed of this fact - in a letter delivered to him by courier at 2:27pm EDT on Aug 31 - 4 days before the Convention began. He chose to suborn perjury anyway, and now the world needs to hold him accountable.

Hi state registrar Alvin Onaka actually confirmed that Barack Obama’s HI birth certificate is legally non-valid, and 2 of the 3 members on the Kansas objection panel have been informed of that fact via a certified-mail letter from Attorney Larry Klayman, which you can see at http://butterdezillion.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/complete-klayman-letter-to-bauer.pdf
At this point any of those guys who allow Obama on the ballot would be committing election fraud themselves.
And reporters who fail to report correctly on this once informed could be charged with violation of the Federal General False Statement Act.

I spoke with a very nice lady at AG Derek Schmidt’s office this morning. She said they had 60 emails this morning about this issue because of the media reports.
If Derek Schmidt, Kris Kobach, and Jeff Colyer are going to be our fullbacks carrying the heavy weight, we need to do some blocking for them. Specifically we need to hold the MEDIA accountable for telling the truth about what’s really going on here: Alvin Onaka confirmed to AZ SOS Ken Bennett that the HI BC for Barack Obama is legally non-valid.
I’m pinging you to a post that has an e-mail I sent to AP, with instructions to forward it to the author of this article and to all the AP reporters. I’m not holding my breath that they will do it, though, so as much as possible we need to forward this information to all the news media we can. They need to know about Klayman’s letter and they need to know that failure to correct their errors and/or any misunderstandings once they are aware of them can constitute a violation of the Federal General False Statement Act.
If we can specifically collect proof that these people were informed of the true facts, it can be used to hold them accountable, because the only defense they can stand behind is a claim that they didn’t know the true facts. That’s also the only excuse that the AG’s, SOS’s, Bob Bauer, etc could hide behind, which is why the certified letters were sent. They can’t hide behind those excuses any more. And we need to do the same process for the media personalities who will be trying to tackle our fullbacks.
Have at it, please. We’ve been waiting 4 years for a chance to do something that would make a difference, and now the time has come. Block low, block hard, and give our runners a chance.
