Where were no active duty Marines at the console in Libya. Armed or unarmed. It is rare that you are given live rounds for your weapon if you are not in a combat zone.

There are way too many muslims there, but their mayor would have no problem telling police to open fire if it came down to it.
This seems to be the unfolding of an orchestrated plan. The average Ahmad, while delusional and full of hate, is also just a puppet on a string being controlled by Muslims (both American and foreign) and others who hate Jews and anything related to the Gospel.

Not sure. I’ll bet the dems are watching and wondering “how can we channel this anger towards conservatives?”. If they could unite these mobs to the occcupy crowd and get the blame directed elsewhere they would like that. Also - this distracts from the failed economy. A key thing to watch is whether romney points out obama’s foreign policy failures in all of this. With the exception of one statement romney has not blasted obama much on this.

Clearly this is a spontaneous demonstration of support for America. Everyone knows that Obama was elected to restore our image in the eyes of the world and, being only months from the end of his 1st term, there’s no reason for anyone to hate us anymore. /sarcasm
The protest is so small, its barely getting any coverage here, which is all about the protests in the ME.
ITV News is reporting around 100, with the usual chants and placards. The police are there, no violence so far.
