Germany's Foreign Minister says the country's embassy in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum has been stormed by protesters and set partially on fire.
Guido Westerwelle told reporters in Berlin on Friday that the Embassy building was "partially in flames but fortunately... the employees are safe."

According to Glenn Beck, Obama is having lunch with Biden and doing a campaign event at someone’s house today. That’s all that’s on his calendar. The Campaigner in Chief.
Hopefully our Marines have loaded weapons and plenty of ammo with orders to repel invaders with orders to fire to kill the invaders.

BO has a busy day in DC today. This morning he welcomed the US Olympic and Paralympic teams to the White House, he had lunch with the VP, this afternoon he will go to Andrews AFB for a photo op with the remains of the four Americans slaughtered by Libyan terrorists as the direct result of his disastrous foreign policy. This evening, he has a campaign event at the White House.
It’s unknown whether he attended this morning’s daily briefing.

Update on our embassy in Tunis, Tunisia:
The embassy front-gate is fronted by armored vehicles. A crowd of about 100 climbed over the embassy’s back wall.
They tore down the US flag and replaced it with a black flag. They torched and looted the American school next door.
There are huge, dark clouds of smoke. The police are battling the protesters with gunfire and tear gas.
