If I am wrong, I admit to being wrong. They might be a better news source than MSNBC (in general).

Then if I am wrong, I will own up to it, and realize it.

They are, according to you, probably a news source that is much better than some MSM in the US.

Al Jezeera - 3 Minutes Ago:

Hundreds of Salafists burned US flags in Morocco after Friday prayers at a mosque in a poor neighbourhood of Sale, twin town to the Moroccan capital Rabat.

Around 200 of the hardline Islamists gathered, shouting anti-US slogans including “American satan”, before trampling on two US flags and then ripping them up and setting them ablaze.

The security forces were not in evidence.

Between 300 and 400 Muslim activists had gathered outside the US consulate in Morocco’s largest city Casablanca on Wednesday, amid a heavy police presence, protesting against the film and shouting anti-US slogans.

“Al Jazeera is a legitimate news network with a pro-Islam bias.”

Not so. A number of these “reporters” are agents for al-Quada, and the Israelis have arrested them. Al Jazerra is person non grata in a number of Middle Eastern countries.

I'm not talking about the reporters, I'm talking about the organization itself. They are a news organization, like it or not.

That's a safe bet. :-)

Best vacation of my life was when I spent two weeks in Tunisia. Loved the country and the people. Spent time in Tunis and you are right, a very cosmopolitan city. The US Embassy was sponsering a weeklong event based on the life and writings of Mark Twain. I will never forget the lines of Tunisians waiting to see the speakers. But then again, this was in the eighties, when American values were celebrated and not disavowed and apologized for.

That’s correct. How can Carney even say with a straight face even now after it is common knowledge it was planned 9/11 attacks, and the chant, “Obama, Obama, we are a million Osamas” how that in any way is even remotely connected toward that scapegoate of a movie.

We stayed in a place called Souse (sp?) We were stationed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (the true definition of a sh@thole). Tunisia was the complete opposite of any middle east country I had ever been to We went to Egypt as well. We knew then Islam would be an issue, in 1982, but it took 911 to wake the rest of America up..

Good advice.

Even Reuters is more accurate lately than any American news source.

If they are screaming “Obama, Obama, we are not Osama” or something to that effect. Couldnt it have to do with the fact that Obama is taking the credit for killing Osama for the last month at least???? Video my @ss!

Patton knew how to deal with Tunisia.

And Pershing knew how to deal with muzzlemen in the Philippines.

Right about now, how much is Hillary regretting NOT going after Obama’s Kenyan birth in the spring of 2008 & then getting herself in deeper by taking the job as Sec of State?

She certainly looks like she has buyer’s remorse!!

I think it was Sousse, near Sidi bou Said. I remember spending a couple of days in Tunis at the end of the R&RS. We went to the Embassy and saw “Flash Gordon.”
