....Protesters in Tunis broke into the U.S. Embassy compound and set fire to cars in the parking lot before being pushed out by police and special forces, who also confronted stone-throwing crowds with tear gas and gunfire, the Associated Press reported. Police in Khartoum, the Sudanese capital, fired on protesters trying to scale the walls of the embassy there, AP said. And security forces in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, fired guns in the air to keep protesters away from that city’s U.S. Embassy, a day after its compound was broken into and looted.

In Tripoli, Lebanon, demonstrators set fire to a KFC restaurant and a Hardee’s, according to AP. Security forces opened fire, killing at least one person. Twenty-five people were injured in clashes, most of them police.

Anti-U.S. demonstrations were also underway in Afghanistan, Bahrain, East Jerusalem, Britain, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, Qatar, Syria, Turkey and the West Bank............

....the bodies of four Americans killed in Tuesday’s attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, arrived at Joint Base Andrews, Md., from Germany aboard a military plane. The flag-draped caskets were carried solemnly by Marines to waiting hearses in a hangar as President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and other dignitaries and family members watched and a band played.

Clinton eulogized the four: J. Christopher Stevens, the ambassador to Libya; Sean Smith, a technology expert with the State Department; Tyrone Woods, a former Navy SEAL who protected U.S. diplomatic personnel since 2010; and Glen Doherty, another former SEAL who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Obama then spoke, paying tribute to each of the four and vowing: “Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. We will bring to justice those who took them from us. We will stand fast against the violence on our diplomatic missions.”......

Morsi is fanning the flames of anti-Americanism, even if the sycophantic dolts at the WaPo can't recognize it.

Anger has spread through the muzzie world for eons. It’s part and parcel of who they are. What makes them think it’s just starting now? These animals don’t need an excuse to commit murder and mayhem. They’ve been doing it for centuries. It’s just the media and the Dummocrats that think they have to make excuses for it. They specialize in blaming someone else, instead of the perps, when this stuff happens.

State Department sets up 24-hour monitoring team for embassy crisis "The State Department has gone into full-blown crisis mode, organizing a round-the-clock effort to coordinate the U.S. government's response to the expanding attacks on U.S. embassies in the Middle East and North Africa.

"The State Department has stood up a 24-hr monitoring team to insure appropriate coordination of information and our response. In addition, our consular team is working with missions around the world to protect American citizens and issue appropriate public warden information," a senior State Department official told reporters Friday afternoon."....................................

“....A British newspaper quoted a senior diplomatic source as saying the U.S. State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs attacked the consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and the embassy in Egypt. Still, no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and lockdown.

The Obama administration denies those reports.

But Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney continues to slam Obama over the attacks......”
