I have him on cortizone and half-strength painkillers; he’s only 8lbs, and weight is dropping fast from not eating anything for 2 days. He’s not showing any signs of pain or distress. I’d recognize his signs right away.

When my Reagan stopped eating AND drinking I had to use a syringe with a hooked tip I got from the vet to put water down her throat. I opened a Darvon cap and mixed it with juice to keep her quite at the end. It's so hard to watch.
