Here in North Central WV it dropped 4 cents to $3.959.

Why would that not be an effective ad - hello out there to any super pacs, RNC, Romney campaign, etc. - make this into an ad...you can make a series of them using gas prices as a theme, then another with the deficit, debt, unemployment rate, etc.

Went to $3.86 today in KC (up about 15 cents since the not-about-a-video-riots started).
$3.90 in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
My son just turned 40 and I told him when he was born gas was......34 cent a gal.

Yes, he started it and Obama has continued down the same path. Just saying the obvious, that Obama sucks, isn't necessarily going to get another Big Government, Socialist Republican elected.
I believe Obama’s goal was to get our gas to $5.00 per gallon.
I thought it was (only) $5. He’s almost there, but if he stays another 4, he’s sure to reach his goal of $8 - $10 / gal.
When gas prices peaked during the Bush years, oil had gone up to around $150 a barrel. Oil is around $100 a barrel now.

Bush was more big government than I prefer, but the Bush bailouts (TARRP) have mostly been paid back with interest. BTW, I don't agree with his bailouts either, but this crash and the bailouts occurred after the Dems took Congress.

That's like saying Al Gore invented the Internet. Ethanol was in use long before Bush became President. In fact, the Model T could run on it.
It hasn't worked out is a matter of opinion (I'll admit I'm disappointed because I agree it hasn't so far), but it's not as idiotic as instigating a coup of the Iranian government in 1953 in order to keep oil prices low. Take away all of the blood that has been spilled for cheap oil, and what do gas prices look like?
