Early Saturday, one of the men who made the anti-Muslim film trailer on YouTube that is responsible for shaking Muslims in the Middle East, North Africa and even Australia into a violent frenzy, was taken in for questioning by federal probabtion officers. He was not placed under arrest, but Nakoula Basseley Nakoul, 55, is being questioned by the Los Angeles County Sherrif’s station in his home town of Cerritos.

In June 2010, Nakoula was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for orchestrating a check-kiting scheme, according to a media dispatch. He served only one year in prison, however, part of his sentence forbade him from using the Internet for five years, according to his probation records.

Mr. Nakoula, since the beginning of the protests, has been inside his house in hiding, while a media tent city has a kept 24-hour vigil outside his front door.

Here goes. If only he'd just uploaded videos of gay sex, everything would have been fine. But now, he's violated his probation.

Imagine if he'd uploaded an Anti-Christian film!

He'd have been congratulated and feted as a Genius and Leader of the Fight Against Bigotry.

The intimidation of this guy proves that Sharia Law has won: no one may criticise Islam and "The Prophet" without fear.

Because of Barack HUSSEIN Obama, Free Speech and Religious Freedom are dead in America.

Simple defense. He made a film. Someone else put it on the Internet, someone who was not on probation and forbidden to use the Internet. Perhaps he even told him not to do it, but did his brother-in-law listen? Watch the judge ignore this defense. Watch the prosecutors stomp on him heavily.

Salman Rushdie is a left-wing imbecile who accidentally also PO’d Muslims, who are not safe to PO. He should have stuck to damning the West for whatever the West is being damned for lately. But instead, he made fun of mad mo and his dark humor joke book. Now the West he damned so often is protecting him.

You mean, besides the sign on his front door: “for 72 virgins, self-detonate here”?

"the anti-Muslim film trailer on YouTube that is responsible for shaking Muslims in the Middle East, North Africa and even Australia into a violent frenzy"

What a foolish statement! Everyone knows it is a terrorist campaign and the violent nature of Islam itself that has shaken the Muslims into a violent frenzy.

Now let's see if Obama has me arrested, publishes my name & location and makes me do a perp walk for speaking the obvious truth.

"anti-Muslim film trailer"? That must mean there was an "anti-Muslim film."

Uhhh . . . what film (or was it a video)? Can anyone provide a link?
To the video . . . film . . . not to the trailer.

Mad Mo humps nine-year-old girls!

That statement will cause a Muslim teenager in Brum to go ape-sh*& and brain a cashier at the convenience store with an empty bottle. I’ve created an international incident, and I’m an evil Jooo! settler. Shin Bet is now looking for me. Top of the world, ma!

Are you familiar with “Piss Christ? Piss Christ is a controversial photograph by American photographer Andres Serrano. It depicts a small plastic crucifix submerged in a glass of the artist’s urine. The piece was a winner of the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art’s “Awards in the Visual Arts” competition, which is sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, a United States Government agency that offers support and funding for artistic projects.  Andres Serrano was paid $15,000 by the U.S. government for his blasphemous “art” titled “Piss Christ”
Was Andres Serrano grilled by the feds?

There were no Christians rioting. Not that they’re actually into all that “turn-the-other-cheek” stuff. I’m sure Christians can riot with the best of them. It’s just a matter of breaking the apathy and storming the NEA, perhaps stringing up a trustee or two. Then the feds will grill some grant recipients.

We saw a vehicle last week (north of Houston, TX) with “Police” written all over it, and with “Department of Homeland Security” in small letters on the front fender area.

"Fuller version of trailer provided by Jyotoshi: "

Thanks for the comeback, and thanks for the links. But, again, there seems to be much more available on the trailer than on the actual movie, which really seems to be a movie (film) rather than a video.

Which also raises a whole host of other questions/issues:
Where has this film been viewed (what venues), and how often has it been screened? Seen by whom? And how many? Has it been viewed and written up by critics? In what theaters has it been screened? In what publications have the reviews been printed. To whom have the box office receipts been reported? What company is syndicating and controlling the future release dates of the film?

To whom does this film belong, and what are the nationalities of the principals involved in its production (the actors, the script writers, the production staff, the stage hands, the scenery designers, the costume designers, and all the other personnel involved in making a film)?

The production of the film was done in what country? To what government will the revenues and the tax consequences be reported?

All these figures compiled and computed by whom?

I smell a very large rat. This has the feel of a put-up job. Forgive my skepticism. I've been lied to, much too often.

Thanks for the courtesy of your reply.

Please be aware that I understand you are under no obligation to respond.

Loosen up with the legal notices. Not needed here. The film is obviously American-made on the cheap cheap cheap, as in a few nerds with a camcorder. No box office. The producer is a jailbird who did a year for check kiting and was on probation and forbidden to go on the Internet for five years. He lives in LA. Now the feds are grilling him on the basis of an alleged violation of that term of his probation. The film caught the interest of Reverend Terry Jones in Florida, famous for burning a Koran, or threatening to, I forget which. He might back the full production, but Gen. Dempsey is trying to persuade him not to.

Loosen up with the legal notices.

What does that mean?

The film is obviously American-made on the cheap cheap cheap,

What makes the “film” obviously American-made? Does that mean made in America? Or made by Americans? That it is made “on the cheap” is obvious. That it is pitifully amateurish is likewise obvious.

as in a few nerds with a camcorder.

Really? Define “Nerd.” Is that a foolish or contemptible person lacking social skills? Or a boringly studious person lacking social skills? Is it a fact that only “Nerds” are capable of producing unbelievably amateurish videos on the cheap cheap? Or, is an ignorant ape of most any description likewise up to the task?

No box office.

Oh. So, it’s not a genuine filmmaking effort (however laughingly amateurish), unlike Moore’s equally inept propaganda effort Bowling for Columbine. Moore’s film at least had the virtue of being competently produced. But, this one: no screenings; no critics’ write-ups; no screening venues; no audience reactions; no box office results; no professional personnel; no go . . . functional failure (the reason for my inquires having nothing to do with “legal notices”). Likewise, then, one must doubt the authenticity of the “actors” who complain of being deceived.

Not a “film” then, but nothing more than an inferior video of dubious parentage, made for suspect motives.

The producer is a jailbird . . .

Yeah . . . and Roman Polanski is a confessed pedophile and a fugitive from justice. So, what?

“ . . . who did a year for check kiting and was on probation and forbidden to go on the Internet for five years . . .
Now the feds are grilling him on the basis of an alleged violation of that term of his probation.

Which has nothing to do with his “film” (video). The subject won’t even come up?

The film caught the interest of Reverend Terry Jones in Florida, famous for burning a Koran, or threatening to, I forget which.

The Reverend Terry Jones has too much time on his hands (he threatened to burn a Qur’an).

He might back the full production

The Reverend Terry Jones definitely has too much time on his hands.

This whole caper is as queer as a three dollar bill.
