Some fancy neighborhoods open gates to Section 8
Sun Sentinal ^ | September 13, 2012 | By Megan O'Matz, Sun Sentinel

Here's an odd side effect of South Florida's foreclosure crisis: Some immense homes with pools and three-car garages in gated communities are being rented out to unlikely tenants — poor people paying with Section 8 aid.

Among the properties are homes with up to 4,500 square feet of space in private communities with guardhouses and regal names such as "Monarch Lakes" and "Bellagio at Vizcaya."

“single woman and her nine children...”

Pretty much sums it up.

I would not doubt that in some hoods, HUD is paying several thousand a month in rents.

Pretty Sickening. All these “move to opportunity” type programs have ruined entire middle class neighborhoods and areas.
We all know of an area that 15 years ago was very nice, middle class, low crime, good schools. Then BOOM.... trash everywhere along with crime!
All thanks to the “caring” government putting low lifes into nice areas under HUD/Section 8.

Good luck with that. Having lived in a middle class condo development that decided to take section 8, I can say with certainty that this will not end well.

so build more projects in Chappaqua.

This is what I said to a girl I once dated living there, she was rich, stinking rich from mummy and daddy and turned really libral once she got married to a hard core liberal jew.

She told me to stop being stupid and that diversity comes in many ways and not by moving others into her area.

translation.
I don;t want the scumbags, welfare layabout, child molestors , crack heads and smack heads, some who do not speak English etc..
NO people like her want diversity etc not in their areas .

Ever drive through a Section 8 neighborhood?

Methinks the neighbors are gonna be pissed.

About 10 years ago, I was working down a hillside from a multi-million dollar gated community. I was working on a gas pipeline problem with heavy equipment. All day long, the rich folks would drive by and ask what we were doing. I finally got tired of them bugging me, so I started telling them we were building foundations for new section-8 apartments.......... That got me a visit from the local mayor.

The homeowners of Monarch Lakes and Bellagio at Vizcaya have worked hard to buy and maintain their homes and have earned the right to live in a respectable neighborhood without the deadbeats on Section 8.

In Alaska in the late 70’s and early 80’s they did the same thing. Everywhere they placed them are now the high crime low property value areas. No it will not end well. In fact it will end as it always has...Poorly.

To hit the jackpot with obuma, all you gotta be is a fat welfare momma with the ability to birth rats at the rate of one every nine months. That earns you SS crazy money at $1,100 per month plus another $650 per month, in cash, for every kid with ADD. All you need to qualify is a democrat shyster lawyer and a thieving liberal quack, and you’re pulling in $4,000 +, in cash, with your crazy kids and krazy you.

Add on section 8, food stamps and medicaid care for every itch and toe twitch, plus six kids on ADD disability, and fat welfare momma is pulling in $75,000 + because she can lay on her back and pop out rats.

Meanwhile, we have vets on the streets surviving from shelter to shelter or struggling to pay bills at home. But they have no societal value to Buckwheat because fat welfare mommas, who have never worked a day in their lives or served with a weapon on the line, have more value for the commie pig infesting out whitehouse.

Hugs and XXX

That is not going to end well.

Section 8 and crime go hand and hand.

I can confirm that. For instance, a section eight vouchered two bedroom apartment in the St. Louis area is just above nine hundred dollars a month.

Nine hundred taxpayer dollars a month for those who have taking it now for generations.

Section eight is the death of any decent neighborhood. Fight like hell to keep it out of yours.
