The Hammer is right this time (he’s right most of the time) —Time for America to be Great again! Obama must be dumped and dumped fast. Watch the debates—the MSM will show their hand. I believe that if Obama wins—he will lose the American People and suffer a terrible Nixon like second term that will end in his forced out of office. If Romney wins, and I thinks its an 80% chance of this, he will be hounded by the Media as a new Dan Quale and a fool—These games will not work in a nation at war.

“Proving just the opposite of what your point is.”

No, you missed my point entirely.

No. I have your point precisely.

Here are your words:

“The USA now has more military bases overseas than the Roman Empire...
Unfortunately, along the way toward good things, we’ve militarized the world - largely on borrowed money. It can’t go on forever.”

We haven’t militarized the world, we have stabilized the world. We are not the Roman Empire or an empire, we have not taken a damn thing.

I either got it correct, or you need to take a “communication and writing effectively” class.

So, you’re denying your own words now?

Ok, since I used the common meaning of those words, you can decipher your words and expose your point.

Happy to elaborate - and equally happy for you to have a different opinion - just please don’t change mine.

Empire: “Imperial or imperialistic sovereignty, domination or control.”

... so to restate and elaborate my point for clarity

Through (largely) borrowed money, the USA has (militarily and now through FATCA) placed itself in a position of imperialistic domination and control over the world. Because of the cost, this cannot continue. It is too far flung to sustain and the world is running out of money that is willing to lend the USA.

Best to you
