I don’t think the Egyptian Army wants any part of a war with Israel
They shouldn’t be taken lightly. They came very close to defeating Israel in 1973. Granted they caught Israel by surprise, but the Egyptian Army still gave the Israeli Army all it could handle. I think we still hang on to the myth (because of the 1967 war)that the Israeli military is invincible. It isn’t. Same with Israel’s intelligence services. They are good, but not perfect. Egypt caught them completely flat footed in 1973.
There is no benefit to their army in a war .They don’t even want the present government
