Posted on 09/16/2012 9:04:51 AM PDT by mandaladon
The US insists that the death of an American ambassador and three others in Benghazi resulted from a riot spinning out of control over a cheesy YouTube video. The Libyan government insists that the operation that sacked the consulate and assassinated the four diplomatic personnel was a well-planned plot that exploited the rioting. Who to believe? Whatever you think, dont bother asking the State Department, because they have told the media theyre done discussing it:
The State Department told reporters Friday afternoon that it wont answer any more questions about the Sept. 11 attack on the consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans until the investigation into the incident is complete.
Im going to frustrate all of you, infinitely, by telling you that now that we have an open FBI investigation on the death of these four Americans, we are not going to be in a position to talk at all about what the U.S. government may or may not be learning about how any of this this happened not who they were, not how it happened, not what happened to Ambassador Stevens, not any of it until the Justice Department is ready to talk about the investigation thats its got, State Department spokeswoman Victorian Nuland told reporters late Friday afternoon.
So Im going to send to the FBI for those kinds of questions and theyre probably not going to talk to you about it, she said.

liar liar pants on fire
State knows they are GUILTY AND RESPONSIBLE. They also know that Big Media WILL NOT REPORT THEM AS GUILTY AND RESPONSIBLE.
fyi State Dept has a facebook page which is pretty darned ineresting
The American people ought to be demanding to know if those two ex Seals were ordered not to fire. They may have died frustrated and astonished. The FBI “investigation” just gives cover to dopey State Department beurocrats.
Big Problem... FBI was recalled due to, wouldn’t ya know, lack of security...
Neither our President or Secretary of State will admit it had anything to do with our foreign policy. Their belief that appeasement works must remain sacrosanct.
The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the believers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting.2

Another Fast & Furious tactic of totalitarians.

If you don’t want to answer questions about the matter, then don’t make questionable claims like “It’s all about video.” (I guess Obama learned well from Clinton’s “ all about sex” routine.)
You cannot order SEALs or former SEALs not to fire when under attack. Won’t happen that way. Nope.
Not this time. We might could have cut you some slack if you acted like you cared even a little bit about these deaths, but you didn’t so now, no slack! If the media doesn’t keep after this administration on this, then they’re chicken. Send them some feathers to wear because they’re acting like chickens. No wonder the Moslems burned down a Kentucky Fried Chicken. They thought they were protecting their buddies the chicken press.
But their ammo can be taken away from them.
Detestable shreds of human debris.
Fraud in spades.
They can’t come up with a response that doesn’t make them look bad. And our presstitutes in the news media go along with the cover-up. The news media doesn’t deserve any respect, or any public.
Well, according to the State Department, in a memo earlier this month, there was no credible 9/11 threat to diplomatic staff.
Press to State Dept. “Yes M’am.”
Further question along these lines will be proof of racism.
