House Minority Speaker Nancy Pelosi laughed off the chances of a Mitt Romney presidency, while trumpeting the possibility that Democrats will retake the House of Representatives, during an interview aired Sunday on CNN.
Pelosi, speaking with host Candy Crowley on “State of the Union,” pointed to one issue in particular that she thinks will deliver the House to Democrats: Medicare.
“We have been saying there are three important issues in this campaign. And in alphabetical order, they are Medicare, Medicare, Medicare,” she said.
“On August 11, when Gov. Romney chose [Rep. Paul D.] Ryan, that was a pivotal day. That is the day things really changed,” she added, attributing the Wisconsin congressmen’s own controversial Medicare proposals with bringing the program back to the forefront of the election-year debate, and in her opinion, putting the ball back into the Democrats’ court.

I went to church today (FL) and Obamacare came up in a group of people. I told them my doctor says he will retire rather than do it. The response was, the reps. are no better because they want to do away with Medicare.
I told them all that was a lie, but the FL papers have been relentless in insisting Romney is going to take away everyone’s medicare. So I went further and asked about the state of the world, it was basically “some people were arrested for killing our ambassador”.
The press is colluding, working hard like Pravda to keep this evil man in the WH. The fall if O is elected is going to be huge, and people have no idea what’s going to hit them, but saying I told you so will give no comfort. The pubs have to figure out how to get the truth out over our 5th column press.
Romney is a jerk, but Obama will end America.
I can’t believe that the commie ‘RATS and their toadies in the state controlled “media” have been able to convince the seniors that it’s the Republicans who are going to raid Medicare for 600 billion dollars to pay for Barry’s ObamaCare. Seniors are “old school”. They were educated in schools that were used to educate people. They should be smart enough not to fall for Barry and Pelosi’s Marxist bull****.
I think that there’s something going on here under the surface.
At a recent family gathering, I had two older (early 70s) female family members tell me that Romney and Ryan were going to take away their Medicare.
They were COMPLETELY unwilling to listen to me when I pointed out that no serious plan from ANY Republican touches current Medicare for people over 55. And they clammed up when I asked where they’d gotten their info.
The term that immediately came to my mind was “brainwashed”. But I don’t see anything out there, overt anyways, trying to make Medicare to be a nationalized issue this Fall. Does anyone else?
The best I can figure is that there’s some kind of under the radar “whisper” style campaign going on aimed at scaring seniors into voting Dem this cycle.
Why can’t someone get this lady, err, excuse me, person, voted out of office?

The over confidence being expressed by the RATs across the board is odd. They're either whistling past the graveyard or they've already counted the votes and the fix is in.

today in our church the speaker talked about the harm the tongue makes with words that hurt and can't be taken back..we take politics out of our church..and every church should also... you said Romney is a jerk..and obama is bad news...so who are you going to waste your vote on??
