The Middle East meltdown is already off the front page of the LA Times   (vanity)

Posted on 09/16/2012 6:01:06 PM PDT by TigerClaws

That didn't take long. They were late to put it there, and quick to get it off. The story is covered on page 3 of the LA Times today.

Remember when the Abu Graib photos appeared for 32 straight days on the front page of the NY Times?

Is it still a page 1 story in your hometown newspaper?

GOP are sooo dumb I wish I was in charge. The newspapers are one sided and very partisan. Great, with 10000 fed regulations the GOP in power cannot put them out of business??!!! NY Times once lied about their circulation numbers on their stock perspective. GWB could have come down on them like a ton of bricks with the SEC. MSM can protest all they want, you cannot overstate or lie on a prespective and the courts will decide innocence or guilt. Liberals want big gov with tons of regs, well the GOP should learn to use the regs to slam them. If newspapers want to be partisan arms, they will be treated like a partisan target. If Obama Chicago thugs can use newspapers to open sealed divorce records of his Senate GOP opponent Ryan, then everything against the media is no longer off limits.

I noticed that about my local paper today as well. This story is already getting away from the administration. Prominent people are speaking out, asking questions and they’re angry. This will not be swept under the rug. I don’t think the media can get him of this one. We’re talking 9/11/2012, Al Queda and obama who has been derelict in his duties before, during and after the incident.

I believe it was Friday morning...the Hartford Courant had 2 stories *above the fold* ...One was about the dust-up in Libya and in *larger* type face an announcement that Coach Jim Calhoun [UCONN b’ball] was retiring. This that day, here have been page, after page of stories, bios, and pix about Calhoun. PFFT! Little of substance about the attack on the USA.

Better yet, remember the Nick Berg video was made BEFORE the the news media in this country went Bat S@#t over Abu Graib.

Just how did the terrorist know in advance the MSM was going to go Bat S@#’ over Abu Graib.
