Skip to comments.U.S. drone attacks amount to human rights violations, Carter says

America's citizens accepting human rights violations never imagined before 9/11.
Carter disagreed with delegates to his Democratic Partys national convention who restored a platform position that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, saying the same thing happened when he was running for president in the 1970s and he made a public announcement in opposition to it. He said the best hope for peace in the Middle East is a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine with Jerusalem as a shared capital, adding I personally think thats a mistake for the Democratic and Republican parties to call for Jerusalem to be the capital just for the Jews.
Carter did not discuss the heightened security at American embassies and consulates around the world following an attack this week that killed the U.S. ambassador in Libya, but he parted ways with President Obama on the question of whether Egypt is an American ally after Obama told an interviewer that I dont think that we would consider them an ally, but we dont consider them an enemy after protesters attacked the U.S. embassy in Cairo this week.

Jimmah Carter needs droning.
I personally think thats a mistake for the Democratic and Republican parties to call for Jerusalem to be the capital just for the Jews.
No one says Jerusalem should be the capital just for the Jews. Jerusalem should be the capital for anyone living in Israel, which includes what some call Palestine; regardless of their religion.
What did you think of those airliners that took out a few thousand innocents on 9-11?
has Carter mentioned the embassy attacks?
Why is it that Carter only ever rags against US and never about any other human rights violators.
Jimmuh, you senile old fart, just go away.
I personally think thats a mistake for the Democratic and Republican parties . . .”
It means as much as Vinnie Antonelli saying in “My Blue Heaven” about his mobster friend’s mother’s eggplant parmesan: She puts capers in which I personally think is a mistake, and then they shot him with a .22. Richie loved to use 22s because the bullets are small and they don’t come out the other end like a 45, see, a 45 will blow a barn door out the back of your head and there’s a lot of dry cleaning involved, but a 22 will just rattle around like Pac-Man until you’re dead”.
And in that morbid way it’s amusing because Steve Martin impersonates a Long Island mobster better than any non New Yorker ever, better than some New Yorkers, though Michelle Pfeiffer does a great job in “Married to the Mob”.
He TOTALLY needs to stay outta this one.
He is TOTALLY incapable of passing up a chance to bash America.
He forgot to mention this in his DNC speech
And a Naval Academy grad. For shame.
All week, I go back to 1970 something- 5?
I’m at a neighbor’s house, after dinner, New York suburbia, summer, kitchen windows open to the harbor across the road, lighthouse foghorn blaring in the distance, the woman, wife of a broker, herself top grad from diplomacy program an Ivy League school, immigrant form Mussolini’s Italy; glass of seltzer, polishing off salad:
“The Man is INEPT! The president is INEPT!”
I saw him at a Habitat For Humanity house. He was trying to hammer paint. Jimmy’s been planting jars of peanut butter lately.
However it’s okay for his Muzzie friends to do whatever they want which is okay with him.
Jimmah does drone on and on and on and on and...
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:
Jimmah, keep your eye to the sky. There’s a space man coming to beam you up into the Mother Ship. They will own you Jimmah! They will own you!
Jimmah, why are you reaching for that hammer?
They are not human rights violations; if anything, without approval of the country they fly in or through, they are a violation of international law (given Pakistan has allegedly and repeatedly stated that they have not given the US permission to use drones in Pakistan).
