The Obama administration has gone to extraordinary lengths to publicize details of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, even as it threatens to file criminal charges against a former Navy SEAL because he provided the same type of mission rundown in his recently published book.
An examination by The Washington Times shows that several details in the book “No Easy Day” already have appeared in print based on interviews with administration officials and likely will be included in an upcoming movie and another book.
Perhaps the most detailed account of the raid appeared in a 2011 New Yorker article based on authorized interviews with White House officials. A source close to SEAL Team 6, which carried out the May 2011 mission, said unit members were told after the article was published that it was based, in part, on an authorized interview with a mission planner.

Agreed! When OBozo’s administration “leakers” are jailed or tried, then they can proceed to charge “Mark Owen”.
Until then, he is an American hero who actually did something to protect our Nation and Way of life!

The author probably isn’t and Obama doesn’t want the movie to have to compete with the book
Got my copy of “No Easy Day”. Lined up as soon as I finish Larry Schweikart’s “7 Events that made America America”.
Personally, I will trust the book much more than the flick, which is guaranteed to make Obambi the big hero and the Seals mere pawns who were lucky to get the assignment.

Read the book, not much in it, really. In fact, other than a few personal notes it really didn’t reveal much at all. No offense to the author but it was a quick read and boring.
If this was a GOP president the seal would be a hero for exposing the administration just like Daniel Ellsberg was treated
