Like I’m going to pay ten bucks of gas to pour on the ground to get the $6.40 gas I need for my scooter.

what happens if you drive a motorcycle or scooter with less than a 4 gallon tank? What would the EPA say if I sprayed 2 gallons all over the ground? If I get my wife and son out, we'll fill 3 bikes with one swipe of the card at one pump. Alternatively, you could wave a fist full of cash at someone purchasing premium for a car and "tailgate" on their purchase. I don't want E15 in my motorcycles...ever.

Why would you presume the EPA cares whether or not it damages cycles (specifically 2 strokes)?
they think “saving the planet”(which ethanol doesn’t do) is more important than anything else.

Does that mean the sign at the gas station will say $16.00 instead of $4.00?

The gas can lobby must be behind this.
My gas can that I fill my mower and chainsaw is only one gallon...............

I haven’t seen a gas pump that offers me a choice of E10/15 or regular.

No they won’t enforce it...on individual consumers. They will go after the vendor, franchisee, gas station owners.

Is this satire? Launching this kind of mayhem right before the election cycle is certainly enough to draw attention away from Obama’s FAILED foreign policy.... but I dont’ think it would be the attention they wish to have!

So I need to start lugging a jerry can around to buy gas for my mower? I guess I need to get out the ol’ siphon hose for small “purchases”.

” - - - Specifically, the EPA will require that consumers purchase a minimum of four gallons when buying from a gas station that sells gasoline containing 10 percent ethanol and 15 percent ethanol - - - “
No problem: just BOYCOTT those gas stations.

There is no way they could enforce that mandate. Actually it is quite easy to enforce. Make all the pumps pre-pay or credit card only (that's already pretty common here in Indiana) and mandate a 4-gallon minimum purchase charge.

Actually, I think you might want to do that if you are buying E10. I suspect the regulation is so enough gas flows down the hose into the car that any residual E15 on the delivery hose is diluted. Otherwise, you might get too much ethanol in what you thought was E10.
It is a cluster flop just waiting to happen. Fornicate E15 and E10 - stop burning food.

I havent seen a gas pump that offers me a choice of E10/15 or regular. They'll probably mandate a pump retrofit later, funded by new gas taxes to pay for the new federal retrofit program. /s

Exactly. :(

"How many gallons does it take to set an EPA adminisTRAITOR on fire?.........."Depends on if you're using an incandescent or squiggly bulb to light it off.
Oh that's right, incandescent will soon be illegal as well.
