I agree. Romney is much further ahead in Florida than most polls are saying.
But as we get closer to November all the polls will start moving more and more and Romney’s direction as pollsters have to start reporting what they are hearing instead of constantly adjusting the numbers based on the 2008 aberation.
Is this election going to be another ‘hanging chad’ moment?
The great news is that this oversamples dems by 5.6. It is also a poll with a large sample size.

And the video of Romney speaking about the freeloading Obama voters will help him too. People who pay taxes and have to pay for these freeloaders who want free birth control, etc, dont want to have to pay for other people’s crap. This video benefits Romney tremendously. Usually when a hidden video comes out it could hurt the candidate, the exact opposite here, I want EVERYONE to see it because the more people see that the Dems are the party of free stuff and NOT freedom, the more votes Romney will get. Have to attract even more Independent voters

If Romney can win Colorado that would be HUGE..I want to see Rasmussen numbers on Virginia, the Senate polling he did yesterday doesn’t look too good but I want to see how the Presidential race looks there and if Romney would need Virginia in order to win

I can see a problem if Obama begins running ads saying “Romney doesn’t want your vote, old people and military veterans”.
What Romney needs to do is deploy some of that campaign cash in Florida and carpet bomb with ads about how Obama wants people to pay for Sandra Fluke’s sex change. If there was ever a time to go all in with ads, it’s NOW.

I always safely say add at least 2 to any poll for republicans.. I don’t believe Florida is 1 point. Seniors are the most UPSET with ObamaCare and they rule the Sunshine State and SHOW UP TO VOTE THE MOST RELIABLY, ESPECIALLY WHEN RILED.
I don’t see Obama having any chance in FL, OH, IA, NC, WI. Any state Obama won with less than 55% of the vote last time I don’t see him carrying this time, I don’t care what the polls say.
Time will tell, but I am just not getting any vibe that Obama has any real support.. the hard core libs and that’s it.

I firmly believe MI and PA are battleground, though it appears for now anyway Romney has conceded PA.
I really don’t think Obama can carry a rust state other than MN and IL if republicans bring on the full court press, however, Romney doesn’t need PA or MI to win, so perhaps its just stategy to concede things for now.
I am using PA as a bellweather, if R’s start buying big buys in PA, its an indication they know they have the race won.

In this sampling, Democrats are oversampled by 3%, GOP by ~1.6%, and unaffiliateds are UNDERsampled by almost 7% (if we include minor parties in this category for this poll).
Romney now back 5 in MI in a RV poll that oversamples Dems perhaps 2 points. In other words, it’s a dead heat.
Dont forget the media, they are ALL in Obama’s pocket too so he has their vote..but I think more and more people are opening their eyes, especially the elderly, they dont want Obamacare..they know they would be the 1st ones to be killed off if Obamacare is implemented..I think Romney is doing VERY well in these swing state polls and that is why the media is so damn nervous about it..releasing these bogus polls showing Romney losing. I dont see Romney losing I see him winning by a sizable margin

Woah, cool it. Undecided voters do obviously exist. They’re the people who haven’t tuned into the campaign yet, know nothing about Romney, but are unsatisfied with Obama. Believe it or not, there are some Americans who watch no news, read no papers, yet still vote, and 9 times out of 10, they vote for the challenger.
Regarding the Bork Obunga regime proposal to OPEN THE STRATEGIC PETROLEUM RESERVE to grease the skids for his re-election, I hope Romney/Ryan can point out the folly in this misuse of the SPR!
Its purpose is NOT to grease the economy for incumbents. It’s for STRATEGIC NATIONAL DEFENSE-RELATED NEEDS.
Perhaps Romney/Ryan can quip that President Narcissus’s regime needs to open up the “STRATEGIC CAPITALISM RESERVE” and free up individual incentive in our economy rather than the SPR.

Obama has ZERO chance in any state he won by less than 55% of the vote, I don’t give a CRAP what the polls are saying, which means the only battleground state that’s really close is WI, which was he won by slightly more than 55%.
I Truly think MI and PA are winnable for Romney if he fights for them, though it does appear he’s conceded PA for now...

As much as folks complain about Romney’s campaign, he’s run a very focused and methodical one from where I sit. He’s locked up IN and NC, IA is effectively locked, Ohio, FL and WI are moving his way as is CO.
I really don’t get all the teeth gnashing and stuff here.. the needle with all the oversampling and nonsense is still moving in the right direction, and the more the press tries to pretend things like saying the truth about Palenstine is a gaffe the momentum toward Romney continues.
Last week they tried to convice us that Romney condeming the embassy attacks was a bad thing, yet Romney’s poll numbers go up.. STOP WATCHING THE PRESS and get out and just talk to people.

I couldn’t agree more with your post 47. I’ve been telling people to have some faith in Romney’s campaign and not be led (misled actually) by the MSM. Romney is picking off Obama 2008 states one by one, yet the narrative so many people are kneejerking to (here and elsewhere) is that he is floundering. My gosh people there is not one single state Obama lost in 08 that he has any chance of winning. He is polling worse in states that he won easily and is losing or tied in about 5-8 states he won last time. Don’t follow the bouncing media ball keep your eye on the prize. That’s what Romney s doing
