US election: Jimmy Carter's [unemployed] grandson helped leak Mitt Romney video
Telegraph - UK ^ | September 18, 2012 | Raf Sanchez, Washington

Posted on 09/18/2012 12:33:10 PM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

Jimmy Carter's unemployed grandson has said he helped leak damaging video footage of Mitt Romney in retaliation for the Republican's habit of maligning his grandfather on the campaign trail.

.......As the story exploded, Mr Carter emailed his 87-year-old grandfather to tell him he was behind the revelation that was rocking Mr Romney's campaign. The former president replied "James: This is extraordinary. Congratulations! Papa."

The younger Mr Carter was only three when his grandfather was pushed out of the White House by Ronald Reagan in the 1980 election but said that he was still angered by Republicans who accused the former president of weakness.

"It gets under my skin - mostly the weakness on the foreign policy stuff," Mr Carter told NBC News. "I just think it's ridiculous. I don’t like criticism of my family."

He described himself as a "partisan Democrat" and said: "My motivation is to help Democrats get elected. If there is anything I can find in any race, I try to do that." .....

President Jimmy and First Lady Rosalynn Carter entertained some friends from Georgia on the South Lawn
of the White House on August 7, 1980. Their yawning grandson, James Earl Carter IV, sits on the president's lap.

This grandson must be from the Carter kid we never heard anything about. Poor little Amy had to take the brunt of public attention.

This isn’t going to be Romney’s macaca moment. He will fight back, and turn it around on the losers.

The father of this unemployed “researcher.”

James (Chip) Carter III

Inducted 2001

“Chip” Carter, son of former President Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter, became President of The Friendship Force two years ago. During his father’s presidency, he represented the United States in 26 foreign countries. With his rich experience in international personal relationships, “Chip” has expanded the organization’s role through managing trips to many foreign countries. The Friendship Force specializes in short-term group homestay programs. Friendship Force “Ambassadors” travel from their home countries to foreign countries, where they are welcomed into the homes of local hosts. After sharing experiences of friendship, personal relationships are established across the barriers that separate people, and differences of language, race, creed or politics become less important. A 1992 nominee for The Nobel Peace Prize, The Friendship Force is active in more than 350 communities in 60 countries. Nearly a half-million volunteer Ambassadors and Hosts have participated through 3300 exchanges, touching the lives of more than two million people, exemplifying The Friendship Force motto: “A world of friends is a world of peace.”

Well of course Carter wants Obama reelected... The longer Obama's in office, the less horrid Carters record, and less inept Carter looks.

Carter is no longer the worst President of the US. He can start cheering, "I'm Number Two!"

A few minutes ago I was reading one of Rush’s monologues of yesterday, where he opined that many successful rich people who want to be liked by the “elites” are afraid to be conservative, especially on social issues.

This photo of ‘hordes’ of Romneys would freak them out for sure! To us a gorgeous family! To them signs of out of control breeding.

Seems like “losers” run in the family. Now Carter is the second worse President with Bozo (Sorry but I have no respect for this President) being #1 now. Carter’s grandson, since he is unemployed, must be getting some of those freebies that is being given out by the Dems.

Say there Jimmy the 4th?

Read my tagline you ignorant little snot, your Grandpa is the second worst President in history (after 20 Jan 2009 that is), and has the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent people on his hands. He is a buffoon and a fool and Ronald Reagan stomped his miserable pathetic ass with a 44 state landslide and followed up with a 49 state landslide against your Grandpa’s idiot of a VP 4 years later.

And Jimmy? (both of ya?)

GFYourselves!

That picture is more than disturbing.

I can only imagine the horror that Jim Wentzel experienced on his honeymoon night when he gazed down at his new bride (assuming he was in the missionary position) and having the thought pass through his mind, "OMG, I'm having sex with a smooth complexioned Jimmy Carter!!!! GAAAAHHHH!!!!"

What has been seen, cannot be unseen.

The three boys were born between 1947 and 1952 and were grown and out on their own by the time Carter was sworn in as President in Jan. 1977. Amy was 10 years old at the time so she was the one romping around the WH and grounds.

True, but during the Carter years there were often comments made in the media that it was as if Amy was the only child Carter had, like his mother, his brother and Amy were it family wise. ...Thanks for the info though. I knew about Chip, and probably knew about the others at one time, but have long since quit caring. It’s probably a good thing that we aren’t familiar with Carter’s kids, unlike we are with the Kennedy kids. Obama has come along to take Carter’s record of being the worst president, and right now I couldn’t tell you the names of his girls. I hope Obama’s girls follow the path of Carter’s kids, and not the Kennedy’s.

Chip, his wife Caron and James IV moved into the White House after the election. Apparently it was too much for Caron and she moved out in Nov. 1978 with James IV later divorcing Chip.

Must have been quite a scene when Caron left the White House with Carter’s namesake.

Scroll to see a picture of Chip, Caron and James IV when they were living off the taxpayer’s dime.

How pathetic.

Jimmah Carter is now eighty-seven years old and still thirsts for revenge against the American electorate that kicked him out of the WH more than three decades ago. He regards Obama as his unfinished presidency & really thinks his loser of a grandson has now given the Romney campaign its death blow. He sends his proud congratulations!

To grow to an old age and still be consumed with such hatred! I thought that at one point a Christian (as Jimmah boasts he is) reconciles with the world and with his Maker, and lays aside the soon to be petty & forgotten spites of a life far shorter than the eternity that will surely follow.

Again, what a pathetic old man Jimmah is in his declining years. And what fun to watch.

.......................”Agents told Kessler that Jimmy Carter treated them and others who served him with utter disdain.

“Inside the White House, Carter treated with contempt the little people who helped and protected him,” and told agents not to look at him or speak to him — even to say hello — when he went to the Oval Office, Kessler disclosed.

“For three and a half years, agent John Piasecky was on Carter’s detail — including seven months of driving him in the presidential limousine — and Carter never spoke to him, he says.

“At the same time, Carter tried to project an image of himself as man of the people by carrying his own luggage when traveling. But that was often for show. When he was a candidate in 1976, Carter would carry his own bags when the press was around but ask the Secret Service to carry them the rest of the time.”

On one occasion, disgruntled agents deliberately left Carter’s luggage in the trunk of his car at an airport, and Carter “was without clothes for two days.”

At his home in Plains, Ga., Carter once tried to attack and kill a small dog with a bow saw. Agents had befriended the stray dog, a terrier, and given it the code name Dolphin.

When the dog ate some food Carter’s wife, Rosalynn, had put out for their Siamese cat, Carter “got the bow saw off a woodpile near the family room patio” and “tried to kill the dog,” one agent who was there told Kessler.

Dolphin dodged the attack, but Carter insisted that agents remove the dog from Plains. The orphan dog was given to the press corps.

As president, Carter needed to have the “nuclear football” at hand to enable him to take action in case of a nuclear attack.

But the president — code-named Deacon — refused to allow a military aide with the nuclear football to stay in a trailer on his property in Plains. The aide had to stay in Americus, a 15-minute drive from Carter’s home, a top military official confirmed to Kessler.

“Because of the agreed-upon protocols, in the event of a nuclear attack, Carter could not have launched a counterattack by calling the aide in Americus,” Kessler writes. “By the time the military aide drove to Carter’s home, the United States would have been within five minutes of being wiped out by nuclear-tipped missiles.”

Carter was “moody and mistrustful” and sought to micromanage everything, agents told Kessler. He insisted that aides ask him for permission to use the White House tennis courts — even when he was traveling on Air Force One.

Early in his presidency, Carter proclaimed that the White House would be “dry,” and only wine, but no liquor, would be served at state dinners.

The word was passed to get rid of all the booze on Air Force One, at Camp David, and in the White House. But on the first Sunday the Carters were in the White House, they ordered up Bloody Marys before going to church.

Kessler discloses that Carter “would regularly make a show of going to the Oval Office at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. to call attention to how hard he was working for the American people.”

In fact, “he would work for half an hour, then close the curtains and take a nap,” Robert B. Sulliman Jr., who was on Carter’s detail, told Kessler.

“His staff would tell the press he was working.”

As the Carter administration drew to a close, Carter and his staff became more paranoid. They believed that people were stealing things and eavesdropping on his conversations in the Oval Office.

Before going on a fishing trip in Georgia one morning, Carter accused a Secret Service agent of stealing fried chicken stewards had prepared. In fact, White House aides Jody Powell and Hamilton Jordan had eaten the chicken.”............. [more]
