Jimmy Carter's unemployed grandson has said he helped leak damaging video footage of Mitt Romney in retaliation for the Republican's habit of maligning his grandfather on the campaign trail.
.......As the story exploded, Mr Carter emailed his 87-year-old grandfather to tell him he was behind the revelation that was rocking Mr Romney's campaign. The former president replied "James: This is extraordinary. Congratulations! Papa."
The younger Mr Carter was only three when his grandfather was pushed out of the White House by Ronald Reagan in the 1980 election but said that he was still angered by Republicans who accused the former president of weakness.
"It gets under my skin - mostly the weakness on the foreign policy stuff," Mr Carter told NBC News. "I just think it's ridiculous. I don’t like criticism of my family."
He described himself as a "partisan Democrat" and said: "My motivation is to help Democrats get elected. If there is anything I can find in any race, I try to do that." .....

Yep, the Dems had to take away the focus that the Middle East is on fire, our embassies were attacked on 9/11(Yeah nothing to do with some stupid video) and that Obama is negotiating the release of the Blind Sheikh..they were hoping that this video takes the focus off of all that but it turns out this video will HELP Romney..even CNBC did a poll and it shows that the majority of people agree with Romney
A few minutes ago I was reading one of Rush’s monologues of yesterday, where he opined that many successful rich people who want to be liked by the “elites” are afraid to be conservative, especially on social issues.

Seems like “losers” run in the family. Now Carter is the second worse President with Bozo (Sorry but I have no respect for this President) being #1 now. Carter’s grandson, since he is unemployed, must be getting some of those freebies that is being given out by the Dems.

All that, and still when people hear the words Carter’s kid, they think of Amy.
The three boys were born between 1947 and 1952 and were grown and out on their own by the time Carter was sworn in as President in Jan. 1977. Amy was 10 years old at the time so she was the one romping around the WH and grounds.
True, but during the Carter years there were often comments made in the media that it was as if Amy was the only child Carter had, like his mother, his brother and Amy were it family wise. ...Thanks for the info though. I knew about Chip, and probably knew about the others at one time, but have long since quit caring. It’s probably a good thing that we aren’t familiar with Carter’s kids, unlike we are with the Kennedy kids. Obama has come along to take Carter’s record of being the worst president, and right now I couldn’t tell you the names of his girls. I hope Obama’s girls follow the path of Carter’s kids, and not the Kennedy’s.
Chip, his wife Caron and James IV moved into the White House after the election. Apparently it was too much for Caron and she moved out in Nov. 1978 with James IV later divorcing Chip.
Must have been quite a scene when Caron left the White House with Carter’s namesake.
