The attack was on the Bastion/British side of the base, near the Marine airfield and attack helicopters were sent up in the fray, Prince Harry’s helicopter was not.

Again, for the last time, what is your point?

Is he an asset? Utilize him! If not, send him home.

He’s a gunner on an Apache....let him gun.

He's most definitely an asset.

HRH Prince Henry of Wales is third in line to the throne — not just of Britain, but of all 15 nations of the Realm (including Canada and Australia). Even if all he did was show up for breakfast occasionally, his presence would be worth far more than the cost of some extra security. All sorts of people get extra security in a war zone — the general staff, visiting dignitaries, visiting entertainers, even reporters. The Prince is there in a front-line capacity, not just a photo op. His value for troop morale, and for future recruitment is immense.

If it weren't for the traitors in the media, he wouldn't be a special target of the Taliban. He'd be free to fight — as he did before, when he served in combat as a soldier.

Winning a war is about more than slinging lead. The Prince is contributing far more than most. Give it a rest.
