I can remember when New Hampshire was solidly Republican.

SCARY THOUGHT:

If we do somehow make it through the election and Romney wins by an unbreakable plurality, Obama will have almost 2 months to wreak havoc and destruction before he is forced out of the White House.

In the last 4 years he has committed unbelievable violations of law and of the Constitution without anyone, or any agency, slowing him down or taking effective corrective action.

Heck - outside of Free Republic and a few conservative commentators his criminality has hardly been noticed.

We can only imagine what further criminal and unethical actions his narcissistic arrogance and hate of America will lead to between the election and Inauguration day.

Gallup 7-day tracking poll stays the same after including yesterday. 47% Obama 46% Romney. Obama’s approval down 1 point to 48%

There is one bizarre poll on Drudge from Gallup that indicates a huge Dem enthusiasm advantage. That doesn’t make sense or mesh well with the other polls....and even if true, it can’t be much enthusiasm because Romney still is only behind barely even in that poll!

[ He really needs to explain the root cause of this — how dems have convinced 47% that they cannot make it on their own and how he will help the 47% become self sufficient. ]

The debate will provide n excellent opportunity for him to get that message out..

What a dummy I am...McMahon is from CT, but she is leading so that part of the liberal world may not be a lost cause...I have a good friend in Boston who is very much on the conservative team. Sorry for being so stupid!

You seem to assume the media will not declare Obama the winner regardless the actual debate performance.

Some people will be depressed and declare it over for Romney.

My experince since 1980 it that few people are swayed by a debate, as most of the viewers are political junkies.

At that point, here’s what I do if I’m Romney’s guys: Run an ad contrasting Obama running off to party with Jay-Z and chat with Letterman while the Middle East burns but suddenly deciding he needs to meet with Congress and look like the leader of the free world when he’s got a polling problem.

NH makes no-OH options so much more viable. It vitiates an all-out Mittens push on the Intermountain West. What is the purpose of having all those Mormons in NV, CO and NM if you can’t activate them?

Anybody have a schedule for the debates? I haven’t seen anything on here about them yet, and about the only part of my news I don’t get from here is local weather and things happening in my area that don’t make it on here.

Well, I guess times have changed. Historically, the debates were the deciding factor. Today with the internet, FOX News and talk radio, it’s hard for the “media” to tell people who won the debate without their “report” being challenged. Also, most people are not stupid and can tell for themselves who won.

Has a sitting Prez ever been censured? If Hussein loses, he still has 2 months to carry out any mission.

...and only up single digits in CT?

CT has the insurance industry and is about 1/2 Catholic. Both of these groups normaly lean towards democrats...but both groups are solidly against Obamacare. Big hardware defense industry in CT as well (subs, jet engines, helicopters). The environment here has really changed - many people speak openly against Obama, and those who defend Obama are rather sheepish about it.

The MA vote is heavily influenced by Boston, which is way to the left. The rest of the state is only slightly to the left. MA isn't quite as Catholic as CT, doesn't have the insurance industry and is heavily influenced by numerous liberal universities and colleges.
