I am not shocked that the press is and always has been left leaning. I am shocked that they have thrown objectivity to the wind and are doing everything in their power to protect Obama.
Atleast during the '04 election, they covered the Swift Boat Veterans, etc... It seems like they "learned their lesson" and are just ignoring anything they think will hurt Obama.
I knew the attacks on Fox at the time were dangerous, but only now do we see how dangerous. If he was successful, Obama would have been able to control the message as he pushed for the fairness doctrine.
Without Fox, Drudge and talk radio, I get the feeling we would be watching a narrative where the economy would be in full on recovery, unemployment is dropping and Obama will have created more jobs than all other presidents combined.
If you think about it for a moment, we witnessed and attempt to destroy free press in America, and the left cheered for it. All I can say is Gob Bless Rupert Murdoch, Matt Drudge and Rush Limbaugh. They are the only thing standing between us and Pravda. It scares me to think that Obama may "learn his lesson" and not give up when he attacks Fox in his next term.

You are not witnessing the destruction of the free press you are seeing the suicide. So far the free press and free market forces are alive and well hence Fox, Drudge and talk radio. They identified a market and have profited from it. Though the liberal forces are trying everything in their power to destroy them like all their plans intentions do not equal results.
We need to draw national attention, protests outside NBC,ABC, and or CBS. Throw in the NYT & Philly Inquirer as well.
If there are mobs outside their offices, someone will have to cover it and the masses can hear that they’re being shut out. Don’t we have any non-working pot-smoking types like OWS to do this? /sarc
I agree with the premise, but I think others will also be blamed. 0Bama hinted at that during the DNC - it will be the fault of his supporters (of course, he is never responsible for anything, unless it goes well).
I have always said this. For years I told the idiot Cubans in NY to go protest at the NY Times and not in front of the Cuban Mission to the UN, which doesnt give a rat’s ass.

The “biggies” in talk radio have folks that peruse this site regularly for input and ideas.
I have personally heard a certain fox news / talk radio personality read a just posted post word for word - as I was reading it.
Obama believes in taking what you earned and giving it to those who didn't earn anything. Mitt Romney believes in helping those who need it, to put them on their feet, not making them free loaders for life.
There has not been an ideologically free press in this country for nigh on half a century. It has been infested with graduates of journalism schools whose rabid liberal professors have been polluting their students for decades.
Couple this with the media's penchant for living, existing and working in liberal infested enclaves like NYC, DC, et al and you have a totally inbred cadre of dissemblers, saboteurs and liars - all dedicated into promulgating the liberal lie and their existence in their pristine elitist environment.
Virtually none of them have lived in or know of real America. They laugh about 'flyover country', rednecks, Bible belters, Christians and patriots, calling them derogatory names like "Tea Baggers" etc.
Personally, I think the old phrase "first, let's kill all the lawyers...." needs to be updated.
