A video that broke on the Drudge Report on Tuesday and circulated widely which purports to show President Barack Obama as an Illinois state senator advocating for laws that favor redistribution of wealth continues to shift the focus of the presidential campaign.

Obama has a clear record of raising taxes. He has a socialized medical-care program named after him. He’s supports increasing spending on social programs. Etc., etc., — how is the fact that he supports redistribution even considered news?

Last night, the NBC Nightly News talked about the Romney "47%" tape for over 6 1/2 minutes. The only mention of the Obama " redistribution " tape…well, there was no mention. They only said (paraphrasing) that Romney claims that Obama is for redistribution.
