The White House suggested that an old tape of President Obama endorsing 'redistribution' is an attempt by Mitt Romney's campaign to change the subject.

"I would say that all of us who follow politics and policy, whether we're on this side or your side of the podium have seen circumstances like this were a campaign is having a a very bad day or a very bad week," White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Wednesday.

"In circumstances like that, there are efforts made, sometimes desperate efforts to change the subject," he said.

Carney: GOP trying to change the subject with 'redistribution' tape

No, Jay, you Rachel Maddow lookalike, it's not changing the subject; it's simply underscoring the other side of the equation. The Democrats have for more than a generation relied on introducing people to dependency on government as a means of locking in a voting base. This is no secret. The "redistribution" tape is just another example in a long, long line of this Democrat ploy.

Alinskyites hate it when you use their own tactics against them.

an old tape of President Obama endorsing 'redistribution'

Awwww. . . Don't mention it. Actually, mention it again and again, will you?

Thanks for taking the bait, and letting us live rent-free in your press conference! And thanks especially for mentioning 0bummer alongside his favorite policy—"redistribution," which is so popular amongst Americans who know how to personally cast a ballot.

Saw that. My point is how they are all working from the same playbook, down to the exact words. Not all dems but all dems and their media lapdogs.

No, Romney’s subject change is from the 47% video—which the Obama campaign had released to change the subject from the deadly meltdown of his entire foreign policy.

The irony of his own comments were lost in changing the subject.

Carney....you Dolt! How is that changing the subject...the mere fact that 47% or whatever it is...are not paying taxes....means that somebody else is paying.....Re-distribution....they are taking money from people in the form of higher taxes to pay for all the free stuff the
47%ers are getting. I swear everyday these people remain in power, my IQ goes up a point!

“”In circumstances like that, there are efforts made, sometimes desperate efforts to change the subject,” he said.”

Funny, that’s exactly what Andrea Mitchell said. Wonder where she got her talking points.

Just like Andrea Mitchell, Carney must have looked up the definition of “redistribution of wealth = socialism/communism

The 47% = Redistribution = Socialism = The Subject.

They are for increasing it. We are for decreasing it.

The tape may be a reminder, but in 2008, all that was necessary for voters to understand the beliefs of the man they would elect would have been a hard look at his voting record. Didn't want to know, and don't want to be reminded now, pure and simple.

Ignore, ignore, ignore, and watch as America's citizens go from independence to dependence under a "we can't wait" Executive who defies the Constitution's limitations on his power.

Hey Carney ... is that like how the Dems are trying to change the subject by harping on the 47% thing? Yeah.

His supporters deny it, too. They hate Joe the Plumber for being there for obama to talk to. If Joe had run inside the house obama couldn’t have told him what he wanted to do. sarc?
