There is sure to be much discussion about whether it is another cash-in, or a tribute.

But there are heavy parallels between the scenes witnessed in the video for Jay Z’s latest single, No Church In The Wild, and the last year’s Occupy protests.

Jay-Z came under fire last week after it was discovered that although the rapper/entrepreneur’s Rocawear clothing line’s new “Occupy Wall Street” inspired T-shirts were produced in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement, they wouldn’t be donating any proceeds to the cause.

“The ‘Occupy All Streets’ T-shirt was created in support of the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement,” a Rocawear spokeswoman said in a statement. “Occupy All Streets is our way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street … At this time, we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement.”

Jay-Z was photographed backstage with Russell Simmons at a recent concert wearing an “Occupy All Streets” shirt, and everyone appreciated that he was supporting the protest movement.
