Mike Flynn
Yesterday, CBS/NYT released its latest Quinnipiac poll of Colorado, Virginia and Wisconsin. With the exception of CO, the polls had heavy Democrat skews, so the head-to-head match-ups aren't particularly informative. What was telling though was the differences in enthusiasm between the two parties.
In all three states, a majority of Republicans say they are more enthusiastic about voting this year, compared to about a third of Democrats who are. In Colorado and Virginia, GOP voters are more enthusiastic than Democrats by a 15 point margin. In Wisconsin, GOP enthusiasm outpaces Democrats by 16 points.
Particularly interesting is that GOP voters have become more enthusiastic about voting in the past month.

We’re not enthusiastic about voting. I’d say we’re just more cognizant that our very survival is at stake.
That’s our wild card. I hope we play it well on election day!
Yep

November 6th: THE ultimate poll!
I have had this feeling for a long time, but most of my GOPer friends are nervous about the election.
Obama has alienated and motivated productive and virtuous Americans to come out and vote. Decent people feel their way of life and country are at stake. That is why the Democrats are trying desperately to dishearten people with old videos and class warfare. They will do anything to remove attention from Obama’s dismal record and bizarre plans and try to get the muddled middle to focus on nonsense.

If these trends continue, today's head-to-head numbers will be wildly off base, as the electorate this November will be very different than the one that voted in 2008.
And this one below has also been repeated by several based on instincts, polling friends and finger in the wind gut instincts......
Keep in mind, GOP voters in these swing states have become more enthusiastic about voting in the midst of a weeks-long assault on Romney by the Democrat-media industrial complex. Since the beginning of the Democrat convention, the media have reported that Obama was surging, Romney was flailing, and the election was all but over. And yet, GOP voting enthusiasm increased.
Interesting.....
1. The pollsters aren’t mistaken, they have an agenda. They are trying to scare potential Romney voters into staying home.
2. Romney voters will enthusiastically turn out to vote AGAINST Obama, rather than for Mittens. Mittens is a “Meh” candidate, and I don’t really look forward to his Presidency - except for him NOT being Barry Bathhouse and his motley crew of freaks, misfits and wannabee dictators.
“GOP HAS HUGE TURNOUT EDGE OVER DEMS”
Broken glass, baby, broken glass.
...You got that right!
Here comes the Tea Party - again. (We didn’t just disappear, ya know.)
It’s cliched, but I’m a broken glass voter, i.e. I’ll crawl over broken glass to vote in November. What we saw nationwide at Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day is just a hint of what’s coming Obama’s way.
In Aug 2008, the party ID was R 33.2, D 38.9
In Aug 2012, the party ID was R 37.6, D 33.3
Especially in the few states where the dead won't be allowed to vote.
When cornered in a life or death situation,
“enthusiasm” comes easier.
It’s the broken glass or the eventual firing squad...
I’ll take the glass.
Get your conservative friends out and vote. It’s up to us. If we come out like we did in 2010, we win. But we can’t relax.
We have two prior precedents to go by.
#1) The country saw 2 years of the new leftist Clinton administration in action and GOP voters went on a rampage in 1994.
#2) The country saw 2 years of the new Marxist Obama administration in action and GOP voters went on a rampage in 2010.
This election in 2012, the rampaging and carnage will continue. Our side is deceptive to gauge because we are not noisy but just very, very determined.
no s***.
So why is CBS and the rest of the asswipe, Obamugabe worshipping media oversampling Demon-rats in their ‘polls’?
As we are getting closer and closer to Election Day, I wake up in the middle of the night tossing and turning. I am scared to death for my country. We need to get Obama out, I would vote for a box of Cheerios over Obama. Obama is the most dangerous President we have ever seen. Romney is not perfect, never has been, probably never will be, but I will vote for him, even in this looney far left state of California I will go vote and do my part because its either vote or say goodbye to our Republic
Two years agon the republicans gained 63 house seats, 6 senate seats, 700 legislative seats and 10 governorships.
Did the media think these numbers would diminish because it’s a presidential year. They’ve been shoving Moderate Mitt at us all year and yet we are still not demoralized. The leadership in Congress screwed us over on purpose and yet we are still not demoralized.
Obama’s thrown the kitchen sink at Romney and it’s still a close election, even in skewed polls. I hope to God the media and the democrats get the shock of their lives!
who the heck is that guy???
Exactly. I think Romney will win, and it could be a larger margin than many think. Stay focused my FRiends, we're less than two months away. Stay on message and don't be led down any rabbit trails by the media.
i agree sarah.
i pray a whole lot more these days.
we have to turn obamugabe out.
Did the media think these numbers would diminish because its a presidential year.”
I think the assumption is that of course Dem turnout will be up because that was an “off year” election and this is presidential.
I don’t believe that the pollsters have an agenda. At least not all of them. The ones who have an agenda are the ones who hire them to conduct the polls. You know - the ones who cut the checks and then say something like, “I want you to do a national poll on the outcome of this election. Assume a massive Dem turnout even greater than that of 2008...”
We have to get Obama out otherwise we won’t be living in America anymore, we will be officially living in Venezuela or Greece, this cannot happen
I've got my Mom converting friends to our side in Northeastern Ohio where she lives part of the year even though she votes as a resident of Florida.
She got a bunch of her friends to go with her to see 2016. They were horrified. I've been feeding her information from here to share as much as possible....and she does. My mom has been able to slowly get several of her friends to stop watching CNN and NBC and to start watching FOX.....
It's working........drip, drip, drip.
Even if you need to hold your nose, it's for the FUTURE of our once fine country.
NO REPRESENTATION WITHOUT RESPIRATION!
I agree with your friends. Some of the swing states and others have already started their “Early Voting” process or will very soon. The Dems turn out for this early voting in larger numbers than Rep. voters and two months to vote can produce a lot of lazy Dem voters and fraud! Republicans turn out in big numbers on election day.
I’ve said from the start. Almost all pollsters are giving Obama his 2008 turnout, some are giving him an even better turnout. If after that, Obama is still only running even, he’s toast.
It was that very stat from Rasmussen that got me taking a close look at polling, and particularly the internals when available.
I guess I'm not telling you anything to say that the media and their pollster accomplices have been blowing smoke up our collective skirts for some time now.
Good, then they'll make sure to vote. Meanwhile, I hope the democrats are all reading the "Obama has already won" articles and deciding to go golfing on election day rather than voting.
Nervous is good if it gets channelled into action. It’s broken glass crawling time in America.
“I’ll crawl over broken glass to save my beloved homeland from a second term of America’s first openly Maoist President.”
Same here. I plan on being at my polling station before the election officials get there to open the building up, in order to cast my vote to oust the Usurping Commie-in-Chief.
I am nervous too, but more because of the horrible ramifications that could come with an Obama win. I fight the doubts each day and likely will until this nightmare is over.
As it is now, with THESE democrats in power and that Bastard Obama in the White House, I really don’t like my country anymore.
I will be 64 next month, I have loved my country all of my life and I have served her, but what we are living through right now, is not America. I don’t know for sure what it is, but it damn sure isn’t America.
If you have Firefox whoisdat addon installed you can right click on the image and within a second or two get the person identified. I have never had it fail on a celebrity or public person type. Even works with multiple people in the picture.
Yep. Just because we have plenty of ammo doesn’t mean we want to use it in the upcoming financial armageddon if Obama is reelected.
I was one of those CO voters who decided to answer the phone when I saw it was the Quinnipiac poll. I thought it was odd that they also asked whether or not I owned a firearm and if I considered myself a member of the TEA Party. I'm probably on someone's watch list now.
The DEMS better get their voters more enthused!! Maybe they should buy their voters BEER or cheap Drinks../s
“Wrong track” doesn’t come close to how I feel about things in this country right now. The country as we know it won’t survive four more years of this.
