After months of speculation, Mayor Thomas M. Menino is set to endorse Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren at an event in Roslindale tomorrow, sources close to the mayor told the Herald.
Menino has balked at endorsing the Harvard professor for months as speculation swirled that he may sit on the sidelines in her heated race to unseat U.S. Sen. Scott Brown. The mayor, whose political clout in the city could significantly help Warren, will formally endorse her at a public event at 4 p.m. tomorrow, a person close to the mayor told the Herald today.

My understanding is that it will only be on WBZ TV,the Boston affiliate of CBS.If you get WSBK TV 38,which is kind of a "superstation" and is found on many cable systems in the country,you can see it there (TV 38 is owned by WBZ).If you can't get WSBK,go to wbztv dot com and go to WBZ News radio for the audio.

Have you ever heard of the “Bradley Effect”? I think it operates in favor of Democrats in general. They rarely get as many votes as polls predict, and when they do, I for one, believe it is because of naked ballot box stuffing.

I never thought it was in doubt he'd finally endorse Warren, though this could have something to do with the timing. Do you suppose BO put in a word? ;-)

This bothers some people. Not me. Ever since Liz promised me a cut of the Passamaquoddy Settlement (after I retained her) I cannot understand all the fuss. After all, the POTUS and the FLOTUS have both been asked off the Bar in Illinois, so Bar Membership cannot be that big a deal, especially if one is a member of a Federally Protected Minority species.
After what the white eyes have done to her people, what with the infected blankets, Pilgrim boys sneaking out to sport with Indian girls, and taking so many moons to grant Liz tenure, I think it only fair that Native Americans be cut some slack from the Bar.

Perhaps only a man like Governor Patrick, his back scarred by the cruel overseer's whip, can appreciate the horror. In fact, I do not see why there are elections in the Commonwealth at all. Any minority candidate should be given the job for life by the State Democrat Committee, or a utility Kennedy to be named.
I thought it was his head that was scarred by an (empty) Coke can tossed by some evil racist . . . I could be wrong . . .:-)
