It is indeed pathetic by UNWRA, UN, and the majority of the planet feeds into their narrative of the conflict. I think the UN has a special definition of Palestinian Refugee as someone who is in a permanent state of statelessness unlike any other “refugee” on the planet.

‘Statelessness’ is their choice.

They are not capable of self government. They will not/cannot negotiate a better situation for themselves even with the Herculean efforts, sacrifices, insanely extravagant concessions and massive assistance of every conceivable kind which the world powers have repeatedly poured into the process.

They are where they WANT to be. They're blackmailing everyone and perpetually play all sides against one another.
