A U.S. House oversight committee may investigate the Justice Departments connection to the leftist Media Matters for America, a congressman says.
Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Texas), a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, suggested the probe after The Daily Caller revealed e-mails showing that the DOJ used Media Matters to launch attacks on political enemies, including Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), who is investigating the department for its role in covering up the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
Media Matters was founded by homosexual David Brock.
E-mails Show Conspiracy
The Justice Department-Media Matters conspiracy to attack and smear enemies of the regime is disclosed in a batch of e-mails The Daily Caller obtained from the Justice Department. The website reported,
Internal Department of Justice emails obtained by The Daily Caller show Attorney General Eric Holders communications staff has collaborated with the left-wing advocacy group Media Matters for America in an attempt to quell news stories about scandals plaguing Holder and Americas top law enforcement agency.
Dozens of pages of emails between DOJ Office of Public Affairs Director Tracy Schmaler and Media Matters staffers show Schmaler, Holders top press defender, working with Media Matters to attack reporters covering DOJ scandals. TheDC obtained the emails through a Freedom of Information Act request.
E-mails show Schmaler conspiring with Media Matters staff member Jeremy Holden to attack those trying to expose the New Black Panther Partys voter intimidation in Philadelphia. Holden attacked former DOJ Civil Rights Division attorneys J. Christian Adams and Hans von Spakovsky on Sept. 20, 2010 for what he called an attempt to reignite the phony New Black Panther Party scandal, The Daily Caller said. Before Holden posted his article at 7:52 p.m., Schmaler sent him several e-mails with information helping him attack both former DOJ officials.

“Where is the Press?” . . . . Losing more and more of their viewers or quietly going out of business.
Not as they view their "duty", however.
The clear partisan bias of the press presents a challenge to the next Republican administration.
I'd be inclined to mount some form of retaliation -- well within Constitutional bounds, though.
For example, the Constitution does not require that the New York Times, ABC, NBC and CNN be allowed access to the White House.
Nor does it require that conservative voices be denied membership in the White House press corps.
Call it a matter of respect...
Every Republican will pray they are not a target of the NY Slimes or Compost. To do this they will confine themselves to kissing babies and rename post offices and congratulate hometown high school football teams. They will avoid making political waves or tough decisions and will sheepishly watch our republic die as they retain their perks and personal wealth.
As his campaign shows, Romney will dance around the edges; he just doesn't have the killer instinct to take on the Left.
they’re presstitutes. probably looking for their next $200
to service Axelrod.
Jan. 21st, 2013. White House press room-
President Romney: "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. (holding up access badge). All of you have these badges. When you leave the building today, you will be turning them in to Security. No one is guaranteed access to the White House. Thank you."
Leaves room without further interaction with press.
I can dream, can't I?
“President Romney: “Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. (holding up access badge). All of you have these badges. When you leave the building today, you will be turning them in to Security. No one is guaranteed access to the White House. Thank you.””
Whispers to secret service: “Tomorrow I want audits on every mediacrat in the room.”
May or will? Lot of difference.
